Advantages: You might win a shitty little tacky prize Disadvantages: You might win a shitty little tacky prize
Blartly.co.uk is a site offering ‘instant’ win prizes and a chance to amass points which you can spend at other online stores. Trouble is, there’s nothing remotely ‘instant’ about this site, and the points you amass are so miniscule as to be completely worthless. All in all, in fact, this is probably the worst web site in the world EVER.
What’s it all about?
Basically it’s a site advertising and selling ... ...chance to amass these points and the opportunity to win prizes at the click of a mouse. Fine in concept, but…
Looks & Functionality
At first glance you think it’s okay, nothing special, just sort of green and white and inoffensive as you wait for the content to load.
Trouble is, the content doesn’t load! Or it does, but it loads down in the bottom right hand corner and you can’t see it unless you scroll about, even in 1024 ...

Advantages: you might win Disadvantages: pigs might fly too
Blartly.co.uk - doesn't really sound like a competition site now does it, but that is how they market themselves. They claim to be the biggest "instant win" competition site on the net and they're probably right because all the others I've seen have "SCAM" stamped across them in big red letters. Blartly look like a scam as well, but seeing as some of the message boards on other competition sites have discussions about blartly which include people ... ...given the benefit of the doubt. Probably. Anyway, scam or no scam the chances are you aren't going ot be hugely interested in joining... The first thing you'll note about Blartly when you visit their website is that you would have had enough time to go make a cup of tea in the time it takes the homepage to load. I counted 1 minute 35 seconds on my last visit with a big lag in the middle which made me think my internet explorer had crashed again. ...

Advantages: One click and you find out if you have instantly won. Disadvantages: Slow and does get monotonous seeing the you have not won message.
Blartly.co.uk - I first came across this website quite by accident, it was linked to another web site so I thought I would give it a go.
It appealed to me because you just click on the prize that you would like to win and then wait to see if you have won instantly. Mind you, I say instantly, it's not that instant, you have to wait and see, and in the mean time you either see an advert for the Playstation 2 or Ladbrokes.
The idea in principal is ... ...hours on end, and thinking the next click could be the one - the message that comes up saying "Sorry, please feel free to try again in an hour", does get abit monotonous. You even start predicting it, before the message has come up. So it is up to you how long you sit there clicking!
There are some nice prizes to be won and with each click you get awarded points, which at the moment you can trade in at Amazon, but you need 10000 points, which I'm ...

I visited Blartly due to a recommendation by one of Ciao's users, and I have to say that I am very disappointed. This site is awful.
For those that don't know, Blartly offer yoy the chance to enter competitions, and unusually for compo websites it says it will tell you instantly. You can also enter the competitions every hour. As a further incentive, every time you enter a compo or click on their adverts you can earn points.
I have two major issues ... ...know that a prize hasn't already been won? You don't. Blartly aren't going to say if a prize has been won as then no one would click on the links. Presumably they get paid because of the advert that loads whenever you enter a compo, just before they tell you whether you have won or not. If they removed a compo when the prize was won then hardly anyone would click it so therefore they wouldn't earn as much.
Issue Two
Earning points. The only thing ...
