Blartly is supposedly the 'UK's No.1 Bargain & Giveaway Site' but, until last week I'd never heard of it. I found it through a link on a freebie site and was tempted to have a look. It was launched in June 2000 and is run in the UK by a company called 'Promo Tech'. Reportedly it has between 3500-5000 hits per day with up to 500 new registered users per day.
When I entered the site, after a quick browse, I went straight to the 'About Blartly' section to find out what usefulness it provided. There I found that Blartly is a partner site to Dooyoo.co.uk (and probably ipoints.co.uk) but little else.
Taking the plunge I decided to sign-up, this was painless. I just entered a username, password, address etc..and was directed to the 'Home Page'. From here there are many options. You can set up a E.Mail account if you need a spare one, you can brouse the various catagories for the best bargins on the web, you can enter the instant win competitions or you can just earn 'Blartly Points'.
The competitions are so simple to enter, you just choose a catagory, click and instantly a box opens up informing you of the out come. You can also re-enter each competition after waiting one hour. Unfortunatly I havent won yet. On the 'Home Page' you can find the 'Top Ten' and win cars, motorcycles, cash, holidays, books, CD's, DVD's and more.
Blartly Points are the sites reward system but at present the only thing you can cash them in for are Amazon.co.uk gift vouchers(50000 for 5.00 and 100000 for 10.00), but they are promising more options in the near future. For joining I gained 6 Blartly Points, not much you might think?!, but by making purchases, entering competions, recommending friends, brousing their site and visiting links/sponsors they soon add up. If you stay on the site for a couple of hours you could easily be on your way to earning a 5.00 voucher.
If you want to make a purchase you will find 13 catagories covering almost everything. By clicking on one of these you will be given the top selling items on the Net and the best price with the option to click and instantly win select products. A lot of the items featured are for sale by companies we all know and trust such as Amazon, 101cd.com etc..and remember the more you browse, the more points you clock up. If it's a specific item your looking for there's a good search engine.
why not try Blartly.co.UK today, it's not ipoints but a good idea never the less, great to fill your time and earn a few rewards.
