Advantages simple to use, efficient, saves u buying and posting a card, see op!
Disadvantages none, except makes u want to send loads of cards
UPDATE:
hi guys i'm sorry to say Bluemountain.com is not free anymore and the cheeky website makers now charge you to send e-cards. so this opinion does not hold!
sorry
kopal
I thought this was a wonderful idea at the time and still do, instead of sending a plain, short email saying, ‘How are you?’ you can send an animated-card to a person, with a picture, which maybe animated, a short greeting and an optional message from yourself.
Once you have previewed your card, you then opt for the option “ Send this Card”. You will now be presented with several boxes to enter. Firstly, the recipient’s name, e.g. 'Birthday Girl' then the recipient's address e.g. 'birthday@girl.com.' Bluemountain now has the option of sending cards to multiple people, allowing you to send the same card to many of your friends. It also can store you friends’ addresses in a private address book, which can save you entering several addresses each time.
After this you enter your (the sender’s) details e.g. Kopal and kopal5@hotmail.com. You now have the option to change the your selected greeting and also add another message.
Once all the boxes are filled, the card can be previewed before you send it. This is very useful as you have the ability to change any details, having errors, before finally sending the card
The card that you have sent comes in the form of an email, in your friend’s inbox. All your friend has to do is click on the link in the mail to view their wonderful card, which last up to 30 days! Simple, right?
