With students going back to university, most of us will be handed a very long reading and book list. Well try this site out, it labels itself ‘the smarter way too buy books’ so be smart and visit the site. I should point out the site doesn’t actually sell books but provides ‘accurate and comprehensive price search of Uk online bookshops on the web’ at the moment it searches 15 sites. The search engine is really good ... ...the book you want. You can search by:

In the price you will be told the postage and packaging, whether it is hardback or paperback, ...

What impresses me most about Bookbrain is that it is a very simple site to navigate through and the pages don't take a long time to download. Bookbrain searches 15 online booksellers including Amazon, BOL, WHSmith, Waterstones and Countrybookshop. The results of the search are displayed clearly, and all postage and packaging costs are listed so that you are able to judge the total price of ordering the book. The availability of the title is also shown, alongside the amount of time the book will take to dispatch. For many popular books their is also a brief synopsis ...

If I want to buy a book I compare the prices before buying - I don't want a load of adverts, reviews and boring recommendations getting in the way. I want to check the prices, find the cheapest and then get my order in.

If you're in need of a book for the cheapest possible price, then look no further than BookBrain! It's definitely a great one for book marking as it is well-laid out, easy to use and finds you the best deal on the web for the title you're searching for.
Don't be dismayed by the sponsorship from WHSmiths, this isn't a biased site at all. I've used this site and have recommended it to others as it was such a good find. I can't think of any negative ...
