Book Sharing Fun
Review of bookhopper.com by wendybull

Advantages: Get to own books for free
Disadvantages: You could get addicted.

Neil Cooke and Daron Pike have created a small piece of Heaven in the midst of the Internet. They created this great new site in their spare time following frustration with spending too much hard earned cash on Amazon each week for the books they wanted to read. Designed to recycle the books you own, have read and don't need to keep, this site could potentially save you a lot of money if you are an avid reader. I found Bookhopper through a review ...
...grabbed my attention as you could request books from any member of the site without actually having to swap directly with them. This seemed ideal, as I was concerned that I would have to wait to get the book I wanted until someone else wanted something of mine. Bookhopper is like a huge virtual bookshelf and you browse through, choose a book you want, request it and hey presto it lands on your doorstep. There are of course rules that you have to ... They hop off but soon hop on again
Review of bookhopper.com by ang_2906

Advantages: free service
Disadvantages: sometimes postage items can be lost

...at a later date. Bookhopper.com was set up by a couple of guys who read a lot of books and were fed up of buying new or second hand books all the time. The basic idea of Bookhopper is that you can recycle those books you have gathering dust, as well as at the same time request other books you haven't read to entertain you. The first obvious step you will have to go through should you wish to use this service is to sign up. This involves your name ...
...able to receive books). The privacy policy does state that book hopper will not sell your details blah blah to third party companies etc, but always worth a read to be on the safe side. So you've joined up, what's next? Well you will obviously have lots of titles you want to add to offer other people wont you? This is the place to start as there are new rules in place to stop members requesting lots of books without actually sending one. You have ... Read review

Anyone want a book.
Review of bookhopper.com by willie96

Advantages: Clear your bookshelves.
Disadvantages: Not many books listed yet

...different ones to read, then Bookhopper.com could be what you are looking for. It allows you to swap your books, for those listed by other users of the site. This is not achieved by directly swapping books, but works on a kind of credit system. The only cost involved is the postage required to send your books to the people who have requested them. If you think this is something you might be interested in then read on. To exchange books you first ...
...straightforward process. Your name and address is required, so that the person you request a book from knows where to send it. A valid email address is needed, so that you can be notified of book requests. This has to be verified before you can complete the sign up process. You are also asked for a username and password so you can log on to the site. Once you have signed up and logged on, you need click on the add books button to add the books that ... Read review

Advantages: Free books, discover great books you'd never know about otherwiseFree books, discover great books you'd never know about otherwise
Disadvantages: postage costs, time

Bookhopper.com - Join the free book sharing community Having first discovered these swapping sites about 3 months ago, I am now an avid user of readitswapit.co.uk and eswapnow.com but have decided to review them all, in the order that I started using them. All these sites work on the same excellent principal - a free service for users to exchanges books online (and in the case of eswapnow.com DVDs, videos and CDs as well). Signing up to bookhopper.com ...
...course!) You need to add bookhopper.com to your safe senders list so that emails acknowledging requests either from you or from a member wanting one of your books get through the spam filter. How it works BookHopper is a totally free book exchange website which links readers across the UK to enable them to swap books they no longer want with other BookHoppers. The sender just pays the postage. So, for the price of one book, you can read many more, ... Read review
