I'm sure many of you reading this will have taken up introductory offers with this or similar book clubs. The offer on this particular occasion was'5 books from 50p each plus a free mystery gift'. Disadvantages: You can't check the suitability of the books before you buy them

I received the new member offer and was obliged to purchase four more books. I ordered the next four books all at once. I received two within one to two weeks. Two months down the line I am still waiting for the other two, although my account states that one book was dispatched three weeks ago! By the time I receive these books my child will probably have outgrown them. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone but was told I haven't fulfilled ...
