I have bought several books from bookshop online and the service is excellent. Possibly even better than amazon. The prices are usally the cheapest available and the incentive of clubcard points makes the books cheaper and covers the cost of delivery on larger orders. I save about £50 on a £100 order and the majority of the books were despatched before the estimated delivery time. There is an online despatch checker to find out when products leave. ... ...but the problems have now subsided and with the prices as cheap as they are its well worth the wait. Its not a freephone number to phone if you run into problems but the staff were helpful and there 24hrs a day. This company best serves the needs of students who want to save money on large book orders as well as the occasional reader who will find the benefit of their prices. ...search engine to compare prices, bookshop.co.uk does frequently offer very good value (even when p&p is added) but their delivery times are not the quickest... they do offer an order status checking service, but do not send status emails out, something which is very helpful (and it is a service offered by Amazon and BOL). The Internet bookshop at www.bookshop.co.uk is actually a division of WHSmith Online, and so, offers the best price on many books as do WHSmith.
I have read many good reviews on amazon.co.uk offering the bets value and service for money, but I have compared lots of prices and the online bookstore which offers the best value for money isn't amazon.co.uk (amazon.com does, but that's US)but rather WHSmith Online.
They take 1-2 days longre to ship ...
