What a great name for a site! Even better when you find out what the site is all about - freebies. To quote from the site itself: “Welcome to the free and easy guide to making money and shopping vouchers and winning competitions from the internet. All sites pay in £ sterling or give out UK shopping vouchers. I try all the sites first before describing them and there are easy banners to click on which take you directly to the sites.”
•• Background ... ...formerly Chris Buswell. He kindly gave me a bit of background regarding the site, which is approximately one year old and started as one page. It has grown since to be an impressive, easy to use site, which is run for no profit as everything is ploughed back into the site in the form of prizes and promotional items. Chris is also a writer, does mystery shopping and is a competition addict, who does seem to achieve a good success rate. I must mention ...

Advantages: You've got nothing to lose, freebies galore, make cash while you surf the net Disadvantages: None I can think of
Let me start this op by introducing you to 'The Loafer'. He's a little fat bald man who lies on a hammock with a pint of beer and a straw. I don't think he's got a name (an idea for a comp there Chris!) but for some reason I like to think of him as 'Dave'. In a way though, he reminds me of Rab C. Nesbitt - shorts, barefoot, that 'lazy' look'? OK, must be just me then!
Seriously, the Born To Loaf site is run by Chris Buswell (Ciao's borntoloaf) and ... ...grown from a small site to one that you can't get through in one session! Chris runs borntoloaf from home (with the help of Mrs B and the 'wee loafers') and any profit from click throughs is put back into the site in the form of prizes and promotional items - but more about that later... In his spare time Chris is a competition freak and also finds time to write ops for Ciao. :o) The site is updated every day and anything new is kept on the news ...

Advantages: Free, easy to use, free Disadvantages: None at all
Born to Loaf is loafer paradise. Want to win prizes but can't be bothered spending hours every day entering competitions? Then come here and find all the "join a newsletter" links, which grant you monthly entrance into a prize draw. Better yet in the same place you can find links to paid surveys, competitions and even enter Born to Loaf's own monthly competitions, which grants you daily entrance, provided your little fingers can be bothered to enter.
... ...is extremely simple in it's design, most pages comprising of a list of links or banners against a plain background in various colours. For example, the index is pale yellow in colour with black and brown text with blue links. It isn't the most high-tech website but that's probably a good thing as there is no possibility of getting confused by the simple links.
WHAT DOES IT OFFER?
Well the site offers links to:
* Paid survey sites - this includes ...

Advantages: Well laid out and up-to-date Disadvantages: None
Enjoying the free things to be found on the net is easy. Actually locating them is not, which is where the numerous freebie sites come in. Most have one or more problems associated with them, though. You might need to be a member, for example. The site might not be all that up-to-date or, and this is a common one, it might feature mainly American freebies that aren’t available to UK surfers. Born to Loaf, though, is one of those rare, completely ... ...Run by a charming ciaoer called Chris (and can we all just take a moment to wish his parents had called him Charles so I could have continued my alliteration there?) it’s a real find in the world of Freebie sites with a staggering number of things going for it. In no particular order, though, here are my top 5 reasons to check it out.
1). It’s updated regularly. Very regularly, in fact. Chris really keeps on top of those freebies and ...

Advantages: Jam packed with good info, friendly and easy to use. Disadvantages: none
Ahem, before you start to read this op can I point out that I have posted it in the wrong place and it will be moved soon to the borntoloaf catagory where it belongs. Glad you found it though!
Click on to www.borntoloaf.co.uk and a warm welcome will be waiting for all those who want to “learn to earn and save on the Internet and win competitions”. The sites host, Chris Buswell, I do believe, is a self-confessed loafer and compaholic.
There is tons ... ...set out in a friendly easy to use manner. The homepage has a nice sky-blue background with a banner at the top containing the web address and a caricature of a stereotypical male loafer. I wonder if the real loafer modelled for this? There is a main body of text and a list of links to other information set in a side margin. You are invited to add the site to your list of favourites; I have done this as I visit the site most days because it is updated ...
