I have been using brinkster for about a year now to host my web site. I think it has to be one of the best free to use sites around. You get 30MB of web space to host your site which I never seem to be able to fill. The best thing about this service is that they don't put any adverts up on your site. No delay page, no banners, no pop up windows, nothing. It does make your site look a lot better if you don't have crazy coloured banners clashing with you colour scheme. For more advancned users they also offer database, ASP and ASP.net support along with forums to chat about these developments and librarys to get the coding for these features. Definatly the place to host your personal web site
