Before I ever started to use the internet I was aware of online encyclopedias, a good idea but I was put off by the fact that you had to pay a subscription charge. Then one day I happened to be searching on Altavista when I saw a link to Britannica.com, remembering this was an enyclopedia I didn't fancy my chances of being able to use it for free, but to my amazement this was a full and complete version of the Encyclopedia Britannica available for ...
...I discovered it was certainly as good as any other encyclopedia I've seen, either in the form of book or CD-ROM. It has a search facility which makes it easy to find what your looking for, and on the off chance it doesn't have the information you're looking for it provides links to other sites that may be of interest. Britannica.com is the search engine of the famous enciclopedia. It is different from other search engines because it is primarily meant to bring up articles part of the enciclopedia, which are relevant to your entry. In actual fact, some of the links did not work last time I tested it and others were not relevant at all. The accuracy of the results is not amongst the highest. I entered "financial options", and got some links which had nothing ...
...example, you can try "sex on the beach" to see what I mean. All together this site seems to be as boring as the original enciclopedia. The layout, though, is pretty cool. In the meantime, I will have to look somewhere else for sex on the beach! ... Read review
