I have used this particular site extensively over the last few years and have found gaping holes in its credibility. To begin with I looked up certain flights that I required and fed in the information requested regarding payment for the flights selected. It was returned as 'credit card not ... ...result. As the credit card was issued by Egg and one of the leading credit cards available in the UK and managed via the internet I emailed British Airways and asked them what the problem was with this particular Visa card.To their credit they replied promptly and admitted they had not had the information for Egg cards on their computer and would put the problem right as soon as possible.Only recently I was expecting my Wife to return to Aberdeen ... more

I have used this particular site extensively over the last few years and have found gaping holes in its credibility. To begin with I looked up certain flights that I required and fed in the information requested regarding payment for the flights selected. It was returned as 'credit card not recognised'. I entered the information several times with the same result. As the credit card was issued by Egg and one of the leading credit cards available in the UK and managed via the internet I emailed British Airways and asked them what the problem was with this particular Visa card.To their credit they replied promptly and admitted they had not had the information for Egg cards on their computer and would put the problem right as soon as possible.Only recently I was expecting my Wife to return to Aberdeen Airport from Gatwick. I called up 'departures' on the BA web site and was told that the flight had departed on time at 15.25. I made my way to the airport to collect my Wife only to find that in fact the flight did not take off until nearly 15.50. In fact the information given on the Web Site was totally inaccurate and a blatant 'terminoligical inexactitude'(lie).I could go on and on regarding their web site but may start to bore the reader which I do not wish to do.

I tend to go abroad quite a lot now a days and just a lately i have seen myself turn towards the flight only type of holiday and find my accomodation seperately.It doesn't really work out cheaper than a package holiday to choose this option but it certainly makes everything a lot more convenient! Advantages: Easy to navigate, cheap, secure, speedy ticket dispatch. Disadvantages: Time-consuming to find the cheapest fair, involves switching between pages after minor departure/arrival date/time adjustments.

The site has an attractive design which is simple to navigate through. You're guided through the entire process of a no-obligation quote for the price of a flight. From here you can adjust ... ...Once you're happy with the asking price (and I've found some very cheap flights on the site) you can proceed to paying for the ticket, using a secure socket layer connection, or by talking to a human being over the telephone. I usually opt for the latter option, just for piece of mind.
