Superb service, helpful Broadspeed staff who gave me plenty of useful advice before i decided what to order. Once I narrowed down my choice to a Skoda 1.9 TDi Elegance Automatic (diesel 105PS and £35 a year), I completed an online pre order. Then I called the broadspeed activation number (they said they get 250 enquiries a day and needed to identify those ready to order) to progress my order. Next step was an email quote which confirmed the terms of the orfder ie price, delivery date (which they explained was plus/ minus three weeks), final fixed price etc. I paid £1000 by credit card (which insured the whole purchase - see which.co.uk) and I waited for the invoice. In the event, the car arrived three weeks earlier than I expected (though I was not forced to take it early). I paid the balance (exact, to the penny) and the car was delivered to my front door. Perfect in every way - I just can't think of any reason why any sane buyer wouldn't take the discount (I saved £2,280 v. a reluctant £800 aty my local showroom agent). Overall? I see no reason why you would not order your car online. Most of the transaction was by phone between me and the Skoda dealer so I didn't feel at any risk. Broadspeed have an excellent web site, easy to follow and very comprehensive. I am a supporter and actively recommend friends and relations to use them. Only minor gripe is that I had to sell my car - but B helped me do that via ebay which following their instructions sold for £400 more than I was asking! Cheers Broadspeed!
Advantages: None. Disadvantages: Very good at talking utter rubbish.
We placed a pre-order enquiry, for a Honda Accord with Broadspeed and were informed twice, that we would be contacted by Honda, when the order would be officially placed. We became fed up after a fortnight and several phone calls, so we rang again and were informed that we could have a car at one thousand pounds higher than we were orignally offered.
This morning I spoke to manager man, who informed me that 'Mr' Honda, does not like selling vehicles ... ...all. After I enquired about the other seventeen people who had ordered vehicles at this price, the man became flustered and struggled to answer my questions.
I work within the legal profession. There is a difference between trying to agree a price with a dealer, (as mere brokers) and salesman filling someone with utter rubbish over the phone and misleading everyone! If Mr Honda takes an intense dislike his dealers selling online, then why do it ...

Advantages: Web site better than most others, helpful people at broadspeed Disadvantages: Couldn't get a test drive, but I knew what I was buying (second Renault)
Good experience. I ordered a new Renault Megane and saved over £3700. My local dealers offered max £1700 off! Just follow the steps on the broadspeed web site and it will be a piece of cake. Paid a deposit of £500 and the balance when I collected it from the dealer. I had some optional extras fitted so It was a factory order and I had to wait for two months. Dealer guaranteed the price for me in writing. It arrived spot on time and was just as I'd ...

Advantages: You will save a fortune buying a new car here. Fast, content- and feature-rich site. Hepful staff. Disadvantages: Delivery times of up to around 3 months.
...buing it in the UK! Broadspeed.com quotes lots of figures of just how good a deal you can get. One example is a RHD Nissan Almera 1.8 Sport, 3 Door, that in the UK retails at £15,300 and they can get for you for £8,520!!!
The site itself is attractive enough and full of good information and features, with a realtime chat feature connected to an irc channel with people from the company there to give you quotes on anything they don't have listed or ... ...crawler considering its popularity and sligh grapic-heaviness. They also recently added a bit to tell you how many people are looking at the site at the same time as you which is pretty cool.
There are links to financing sections so that you can get a loan arranged too.
I guess the only draback is having to wait 6 - 12 weeks for your order to get to you, althoug they also have a sall selection of immediately-available vehicles. ...

Advantages: Excellent web site, Good service, Main dealers Disadvantages: Can't part ex your old car
Very good web site and excellent service. I placed an online enquiry - then a pre order which resulted in a call. I took Broadspeed's advice and chose a different colour and options (easier for me to sell later). I placed the dealer order direct and paid £1000 deposit. The price on the order form was exactly what was quoted on the web. My new VW Passat was delivered to my door less than three weeks after my first web enquiry. I saved 21% and the ... ...about the same as my local dealer - except the discount reduced my payments by £18 a month. I was introduced to the Broadspeed site by a friend who has bought his last two cars using them (over seven years). Overall, I would use them again and have no problem recommending them here. ...

Advantages: If your bored, its something to do? Disadvantages: Its all a facade,.. its a dupe!
Advice; Dont do it, its a con!
Unfortunately I succumbed to the lure of the 'deal of the year'. All the main dealers were telling me that discounts were out of the question. I was ready, cash in hand to buy a new Range Rover. In high demand, there are long waiting lists and dealers know its a sellers market.
So when I saw that Broadspeed were offering 'Brand New', 'UK Spec', 'Best dealer price', for a 4% discount I jumped at the offer.
(My head ... ...riddles,.. )
"Are they real prices?" they rhetorically ask in their FAQ's... "..yes, our dealerships upload their own discounts weekly"
Perfect, the dealer has already disclosed the price and Im happy to agree the purchase. What could be more difficult?
One week after confirming with Broadspeed I was ready to buy now, and after being told by Broadspeed that a dealer would call me to take my order, and after calling Broadspeed every day for that ...

Advantages: Good web site. Big dealer discounts Disadvantages: Trade-in is spearated (but price OK)
I compared discounts online for several 1.6 cars and decided on an new Audi A4 1.6 FSI. The list price is £18,618 and via the Broadspeed web site I paid £16011 including 12 m tax disc and delivery to my door. Car was delivered by a helpful chap from the Audi deaqlership who explained how everything worked. It looked just like a new car should - I still love it! www.broadspeed.com offered the biggest dicount and a slick, efficient service. They only charge one fee - only if you order - it's £150. Considetring the saving that I made, I feel this is a reasonable fee for them to charge. Overall, I am well satisfied and would use Broadspeed again. ...
Advantages: Price! Disadvantages: Non that I can think of - very easy!
the research stuff. But I found Broadspeed.com myself and must say they do a good job with their site. I phoned them for advice - who supplies the car, how the trade in works, finance quote - all normal new car stuff. I got a remarkably candid and thoroughly independent advice from a non-salesman type of person. So far so good! I went back online and placed an enquiry. Once it was completed, I called their Honda dealer - and what a shock. Right price (spot on to web quote) and reasonable trade in offer (ok, I expected it to be worth a bit less than book price). I paid £500 deposit by card to the Honda dealership and paid the balance with a bank draft when I collected it six weeks later. Good service, great car - I am pleased with the way everything went and would do it again.

depreciate totally, leading to massive depreciation in percentage terms, a bog standard model is going to depreciate more heavily anyway, simply due to the discounts being offered. We paid £19,500 for this Saab, a reduction of approximately 18% on its list price. You will be pleased to hear that that was no fleet discount - the Saab dealer merely matching the best internet quote that I had obtained on this car via broadspeed.com. He was not aware that it was a company purchase until the order form was filled out either. You may be interested to know that the Honda dealer allowed me just 5% on the Accord!
As a private purchase, with a big discount, the Saab may make sense, as a company one it plainly does not - unless you put a lot of store in the badge and are prepared to pay a premium for running it, which our M.D. turned out to be willing to ...
