...I was first introduced to the Burberry London fragrance by an Irish friend who had picked some up at the airport. I borrowed some for a night out (as you do) and from that moment on I was hooked. I have been wearing it for over 5 years now (either I'm old fashioned or it's timeless - I prefer the later). So what does it smell like you ask? Personally I think it's divine - now I realise that is only my opinion but that's why you are reading this right? However this may help, it has top notes of peach, apricot and marigold. The middle notes are: black currant, sandalwood and cedar and the base of the fragrance is: jasmine, vanilla and musk. It is quite fruity but the musk and sandalwood make it not sickly sweet. ...Burberry London is a woman's fragrance which was launched in 2005 and shouldn't be confused with Burberry which was released some 8 years or so prior. Burberry is essentially a British company and as far as I know they try to market this scent as something very English! A friend of mine was wearing it some time back and I admired the smell and lo and behold she presented me a bottle all for myself as a Christmas gift. In general I don't advocate giving perfumes to people as gifts unless you know what they like - my friend's gift could have backfired quite easily as perfumes that might smell good on one person might not smell so good on someone else. Advantages: Soft and feminine - for sweet noses
Disadvantages: If you don't like vanilla - stay away!

...Burberry weekend was created in 1997. It is very soft and feminine and suitable for daytime wear. Personally, i am not keep on this perfume, although i am a fan of Burberry (Burberry London). This perfume has a sparkling citrus fragrance, ith fresh green scents blended with floral smells. The problem is that too much vanilla fragrance is added to it, and that personally puts me off this perfume. It makes it smell far too sweet. It comes in a frosted sculptured bottle which looks nice, box is held in a light lemon colour. The fragrance will stay on for at least 6-8 hours, which is a big advantage. You can buy a matching bath and shower gel and also a body lotion. If you are a fan of sweet fragrances then this is the perfume for you! If you don't like vanilla smell then you will most certainly be put off by this... Read review
