Well, after leaving the internet for a period for reasons unknown by myself I came back hoping there would be just as many scams out there as before with the opportunity to make a fast buck.
I did, however think that the days of getting paid to surf the net were dead and buried after the lull in the internet after its initial boom nearly wiped out and business venture on the net. All of the get paid to surfers out there must remember the days of Alladvantage who were actually reasonable. So when I came back to find Cashfiesta there offering what appeared to be decent rates, I have to say I was shocked.
The money does look handsome at a potential rate of earning of a little over $1.50. I must however stress the word POTENTIAL as it comes in very handy for the creators of Cashfiesta. I will leave this little rant until later and get on with explaining this shocker of a program to you.
First and foremost you have to join, which basically entails you entering your details. After which you have to download the Cashfiesta Adbar.
The Adbar is a little program that you download and when opened displays a bar about 1inch wide somewhere on your screen. The plus point I suppose is that you have the freedom to put the Adbar anywhere on your screen, WOW. There are however a few problems with the Adbar. Firstly it does sometimes hamper your normal surfing as it can get in the way. Secondly, which could be a clever move from the makers of the bar, it occasionally cuts out and ceases to display ads for no reason at all, even when you are surfing the net normally. This is plain to see as the little dollar sign in the corner of your screen turns from green to red. As I said this could be a clever move from the designers as clearly it can drastically effect the amount you earn as sometimes you don't realise for ages.
The rates:
Now this is what you are all interested in, the pay rates, otherwise why would anyone in their right mind sign up to one of these places? As you can probably tell from the title of my op, the rates are not good, in fact I would go as far as to say that they are appauling. I admit I fell for their marketing and saw the potential of earning $1.66 an hour and joined up. There is however only one way of earning this maximum pay rate, and this is by joining most of the companies that Cashfiesta are affiliated to. I guess I would happily do this if it did not cost anymore as I would set up a throwaway e-mail address, however you do have to pay to join a lot of the programs, and if it is not that it is putting down an opening bet.
So for each company that you join per month you earn a different amount. For each 1000 points you earn via the Adbar (around an hours worth of surfing) you earning a WHOPPING $0.01. Yes that's right $0.01, this is however for not signing up with any special offers.
Here are the rates shown below.
1 special registration - $0.04 an hour 2 special registrations - $0.33 an hour 3 special registrations - $0.50 an hour 4 special registrations - $0.66 an hour 5 special registrations - $0.83 an hour 6 special registrations - $1.00 an hour Member of Gold Club - $1.66 an hour
As you can see the rates are not that special. If you lived in the US this might be alright because most of the free offers are open for the US but hardly any for the UK, so it is very hard for us folk to earn.
Referrals:
As with every company like this, they pay you for bringing members to them by reffering them. This place offers a great downline of 8 people which is one of its plus points, however if you are a member and have referrals there is nothing to get disillusioned about. As you may have already found out, if you do get any referrals you will see they leave the place as quickly as you and you get nothing or very little at the most. The problem gets worse as you earn a fraction of what they do, and they earn very little as well. You earn points through your referrals so if they sign up for offers you don't get anywhere near the same rates as them.
To Sum Up:
To sum up this place is terrible, however it is not really unexpected, surviving on the internet is a pretty hard job at the moment and that is why there have to be cut backs made.
There are however some programs that really do work, as members of Ciao will know only too well.
