Let me start by saying that the pay-to-surf hype that took the internet by storm in 1999 is long gone and dead. Cashfiesta was one of the later programs to emerge, and today, it is the only pay to surf program that is still functional (at least to my knowledge).

Anyway, take it from a person who spent countless hours trying to make money off such programs – they don’t work.

More importantly though, Cashfiesta is perhaps the biggest unprofitable program of them all. If you spent some time looking into the payment methods, and the actual amount of money you really make, you would realize that Cashfiesta is a complete waste of time and energy. Let’s get started.

When you first sign up for this program, your individual pay rate begins at $0.01 for 1000 Fiesta points. This is approximately a bit over 1 hour of surfing and sometimes much more. But for now, let’s assume an hour. If you surf 24 hours a day, here is how much you could earn:

Total hours in a month = 30 days* 24 hours/day
= 720 hours

Total pay = 720 hours * $0.01/hour
= $7.20

Now, nobody in their right mind would actually surf twenty-four hours a day. Of course, you could always get a cheat program that would keep the bar active and the cash rolling in, but your electricity bill will cut into your $7.20 worth of profit!

So as you can see, the initial pay rate doesn’t get you anywhere. But wait, you can always sign up for special offers and increase your pay rate. Here is the break down on pay rates for the number of offers you sign up for (all for 1000 points):

1 offer – $0.04
2 offers – $0.333
3 offers – $0.50
4 offers – $0.66
5 offers – $0.83
6 offers – $1.00

Gold club - $1.666

The gold club is a ridiculous scam. I won’t go into details about how it works but believe me, the chances of you getting into this are zero!

The problem with the special offers is that you have to pay money in order to get them. All of these offers require credit cards and over 90% of the offers are casino/gambling sites that require minimum wagers ($50 +) before you can get credit for the offers. This means that you would end up paying hundreds of dollars before you raise your pay rate. And this is only a conservative estimate. Has anyone ever heard of impulsive gambling? The reason these sites join with Cashfiesta is because they know that once an unsuspecting gambler wages the minimum, they are bound to go for more, much more!

So let’s say that you join for 6 offers and actually get credit for them on time (This is another problem). Now your pay rate is up to 1000 points = $1.00 for that month. You would earn $720 in the month if you surfed twenty four hours a day. On top of this, you would supposedly make a couple of hundred dollars from points you get for signing up for the offers (1000 offer points =$1.00). Factor in the electricity bill and the hundreds of dollars paid for the offers to begin with and you basically come out even!!

So that doesn’t work. What’s left? Referrals. Good luck with that. Unless you can sign up a considerable number of people who actively use the bar, referral generate you very little income. Everyone has had a taste of the pay-to-surf experience and they are not happy about it. I have over 100 referrals from days long past still showing up in my Cashfiesta account. Not a single one of them uses the fiesta bar anymore. I guess they’ve realized what a waste of time it is.

And if all this is not enough, consider this. How can you trust a company that has no guarantee on it’s future existence? Just like many of the other pay-to-surf programs that just “disappeared”, Cashfiesta can disappear next week, next month, or next year, and with it go all your hard earned points, referrals etc.

Well, that’s it. I hope this will shed some light into the matter. For all of you who are thinking about joining Cashfiesta, take my advice: save your time and energy, this is a complete waste of time!
