I’d been a fan of the New York poet Jim Carroll for years but could find very little information concerning his work. Typing his name into a search engine I was directed to this site and was enthralled for hours. Designed by one Dr Cassie Carter, this is a serious appreciation of Carroll’s life and work, not some adolescent ... ...length by Dr Carter herself and in numerous articles collated from a broad spectrum of the media. Also included are sound and video clips of Carroll performing and being interviewed; an enormous, well constructed gallery of images; exclusive articles discussing Carroll’s New York childhood as described in his book The Basketball Diaries; and links to chat and discussion groups.
