If like me, you have never been able to work out why we in the UK have to pay more than almost everyone else in the whole world for CD's then this might just be something that will interest you.

Check out www.cd-wow.com

This is a website I have been usuing for some time now to buy my cd's from. The price for a normal album CD is only £8.99 which I think represents excellent value for money.

They have the top 75 chart CD's available for this price.Double CD's are more expensive but Now 48 is selling for £11.99, a saving of £4-£5 on high street shops.

Apart from the top 75 albums they do carry a range of other albums for sale. There is a search facility which will stop you paging through endless lists in the search for your chosen artist.

They also carry a budget range or sale range which are sold on a first come first serve basis until the stock runs out. These sell at £6.99 and include many not so old releases.

If you do not have a CD player they also sell cassette tapes of the more popular releases for a reasonable £5.99

The good thing about these prices is that they INCLUDE P&P, so there are no hidden extras to pay.

The website is very easy to navigate even for someone like me who is by no means an expert in these matters.

I know that some people are impulse buyers or will want to have their chosen CD there and then, which is their choice. But if like me you are prepared to wait between 4-9 days for the CD to arrive in order to save yourself a few quid then I suggest you try this for yourself.

The deliveries have nearly always been at the lower end of the range with only one taking around 9 days to arrive.

You can pay in a variety of ways.Visa/Mastercard/Switch/Solo for instance.

There is a full returns guarantee if not satisfied or the product is damaged, although there is a £1.50 charge levied to cover P&P.Touch wood, I have yet to use this service.

Buying through this website is easy. There are two pages of details to go through, although this is not as bad as it sounds.

One small criticism is that you have to go through this process every time you order.Unless it's me being stupid I have not found a way of saving my details on the site.
