Advantages Competitive,free P&P,packaged well,fast dilivery and order can be tracked.
Disadvantages Unlike other stores if you don't like the CD you have to pay to send it back and for the handling charge too.Search limited.Cramped page.
I first discovered CD-wow through a search engine.An easy URL address and low prices,not a name people will forget easily.
CD-Wow offers a wide range of current chart music such as Kylie Minogue and Enrigue Iglesias, but also have some classic artists like Frank Sinatra and Joode Holland.They also have up to dateDVDs "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Swordfish" to name a few, they also have some family favourites like "Shrek" and "Cats and Dogs" these are also very competitive and cheaper than your local HMV or Our Price but the CDs have bigger savings.
The layout of the web page is very cramped although it is quite easy to find what you are looking for.On the left of the page there is a top 20 list, in the middle new and pre-released albums.One thing on this page that I really liked was the album of the week, it gives a review of the artist and the music.Although all opinions of music are different it gives you an idea of what the album is about, the artist and what genre of music it is.
At the top right there is a search,a small one but it does the job.You can search by title,artist or track.The results are quick and are in the three catogories just stated.Next to the title will be the price and at this point you can add it to your "cart".Once added to your "cart" in the top right hand corner will be your trolley giving an individual itemised "bill" which is good if you have a limit or aren't very good with sums.You can now proceed to the check out.
There are many ways to pay, credit/debit card,cheque,paypal and you can even send a fax.The site is encrypted so it is safe to distribute any personal information.A simple order form will need to be completed with the relevant information but that doesn't take long.
CD-Wow can be contacted by e-mail,telephone or by post.If you are unhappy you can return your purchase within 14 days of purchasing and you will be refunded.£1.50 handling charge will be deducted unless it is their error.If the product is faulty you can:
