It's more than WOW - it's fantastic
Advantages Easy to use, very very cheap, quick delivery
Disadvantages None
After paying the RRP for music cd's on numerous occasions, I didn't think a website like CD-Wow existed and thought that there must be a catch.
However there isn't. This is the website to go to for cheaper CD's, DVD's and Computer Games. It is very easy to use, you register by clicking on 'Sign Up'at the bottom of the home page and by filling in your details such as name, address, telephone number, and the bit I like is whether you are a Gentleman or a Lady (a nice change from Male/Female) You then give your email address and a password which has got to be at least 5 characters long. You will need to use your email address and password to log in.
The homepage is clear and easy to read. It gives you a list of the 'Top 20 Chart CDs' on the left hand side. In the centre of the page is a list of the New 'Crucial' Releases and 'Essential' Releases . On the right there is various menus. They are CD Audio Zone, DVD Box Office, Video Games and Customer Service. Each menu has their own categories making it easy for you to look for whatever you want. They all have a good choice. However the home page does have a quick search if you know the Title etc. When you click on a CD, it will give you info about the product, such as a track listing, the price, and sometimes a price comparison with other sites which is very helpful. The DVDs and Games have the same principle.
A little warning about the DVDs though, some of them are only available in certain regions so do make sure your DVD player is compatible before purchasing. When you want to purchase, you click on 'Add To Cart'. You can then continue shopping or pay. To pay you click on 'Click To Checkout' where you go through a secured site and add your debit/credit card details, delivery address and invoice address. My money was taken out with no problems whatsoever and the site has a good privacy statement giving you peace of mind about shopping on the site.
The main price for CDs is £8.99 however there is a bargain basement where they are priced at £6.99.The Computer Games range from about £10 - £40 and the DVDs range at about the same price as the games depending on the amount of discs etc.
The delivery is FREE! Yes thats right FREE! which makes it a fantastic bargain. When I ordered my CD on the Wednesday, I received it on the Friday so delivery is very speedy. It was packaged well and the CD case itself had bubble wrap round it. The package is small enough for the postman to put through the letterbox so you don't have to worry about collecting parcels from the Post Office! Also, CD-Wow don't send you numerous unnecessary emails and just let you know if there is a sale on.
Basically, I don't go anywhere else for my music and would recommend it to anyone. Sorry the opinion is a bit long!

This sounds a similar site to the play 24-7 one. I'll definitly only order CD's & DVD's online now until they match the web prices in the shops. Cheers, Craig.
I love CD Wow! i love free delivery! Nice op, thanks. Ruth.
