Recently joined this "club". First order was still not shipped 3 weeks after promised delivery. Customer service emails never answered. Customer service phone line is always a vmail asking to leave name+phone for contact. Calls never returned. Lukcily I had ordered through Amazon, so I got my money back.
Worst part, I live about 18 miles from thier warehouse (in Indiana) and they were unable to deliver CDs in a month timeframe! ...

Ever since I started using the internet about five years ago CDNOW was one of the first big places to shop at online. Naturally there is now so many more stores to visit but through the times of dotcom businesses going down the drain this is an outfit that have rode the storm and are still surviving. When I saw the movie Scream there was one song that really stood out for me by a band called Birdbrain. Their albums are not available in the UK but CDNOW could supply and at half the price an HMV import would have set me back. I have always found the site easy for searching. I've been purchasing music from CD Now for about 2 years. I've used other online shopping sites for purchasing music, e.g., bn.com and amazon.com, but none offer the selection or value that CD Now does. More importantly, CD Now offers excellent customer service and speed in delivery.
If you have a wide variety of musical tastes, as I do, CD Now will please you with its choice of genres from rock to classical, from country to world beat. Each week, ... ...new music newly available, as well as sale items. This is not e-mail that I automatically delete. Usually they list their new and sale music in an easily-accessed format.
Since I've had some less-than-stellar experiences with bn.com and amazon.com, I truly appreciate CD Now's exceptional customer service. Not only are the goods delivered in a very timely fashion, but you receive the items you ordered. If they aren't available when you order them, ...
