Chat...providing the US government lets you
Review of chat.msn.com by DeusXM

Advantages: Slick site, loadsa content, easy, ideal for newbies
Disadvantages: Censored by people who think Mary Whitehouse was too liberal, it's Microsoft

I swear that the US government is monitoring MSN chat. It seems violently keen to make sure you only say things acceptable to the White House. For instance, the word 'nazi' is banned. You're also not allowed to use any word that might have the remotest drug connection (admittedly 'bong' is dubious, but hey, what sounds do bells make?), or swear. Let me get this straight. Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Has been removed for UK residents

The removal of the UK service occured at the same time as the US service became a subscription ...
...and additional hotmail space(the famous internet email system). This services costs about $10 per month. Even before the chat was cancelled for UK users I found that the system was very poor and tended to crash a lot. I also noted that the system seemed more popular with those under the age of 18 so maybe there are fewer members now. I cannot give this a good review as the service has essentially been withdrawn. I recommend that people try Yahoo ... Read review
