1) I don’t know and never will
2) Could be telling a load of lies

I normally just phone a friend or start buzzing them on their mobile at 1 o’clock in the morning while their settling down to bed after their hot cocoa and a bed time story. You can probably tell by now that I am not a real fan of chat rooms and the only time I used one was the one built into the Napster software that I used to pass the time.
Most of today’s chat and forum services don’t really appeal to me, you always end up arguing with some member that thinks that they can come to your house and kick your arse when in truth they’re some little spoiled 11 year old with absolutely no friends at all. You will always find members that will say ‘ I am going out on the town tonight’ NO YOU’RE NOT. WHY would you go on the net to tell people that you don’t know, that you are going out? ANSWER, people make up lies to make themselves feel popular because in the real world the people that know them don’t think they are so cool.
Chat rooms are full of people who are not themselves. Honestly I am not the same happy, funny and witty guy that has my friends laughing, instead I say things that wouldn’t even come across my mind in the real world. Well I will get to my opinion before I upset too many people
Chat house is a chat site that I visited in order to do a review, on loading I noticed a few things. 1) You don’t have to sign up to chat. You can chat in few rooms but some you need to register to enter 2) The site is ‘BLACK’ not the most welcoming colour in the world. (They should have red or yellow or something that is brightly that can put you in the mood to chat.
So is the site good? Well one thing I will say is that a site is as good as its members. E.g. ciao.com = good members/ good site
The room has a floor plan to separate the rooms
Second floor..HIP HOP Next floor.. Suburbia Hall.. city life
These are the free rooms and they offer good chat facilities. I went in the hip-hop room as a guest the speed was quite nippy and I was chatting to the interesting member inside a few seconds of going to the site. I chatted for a few minutes before getting bored out of my skull. The layout is very dodgy, you have a list of people chatting and if you want to private message (whisper) or ignore you have to tick next to member name. I sent a private message to someone but they didn’t reply so I found someone else to message. When I clicked the tick I put my message in the box and sent it. The private message was sent to the first member that I had ticked. This bit needs heavily changing before it becomes anywhere near the quality of today’s chat services
The site features a game section, the games are Browser/Flash and are not really that entertaining and after 5-10 minutes will have you reaching for your computers power button.
To start with I have never liked chat rooms but this site has put me off for the rest of my life. The only chat software I use Is ICQ, which I use to talk to my friends with. As my title says (GOOD MEMBERS MAKE A GOOD CHATROOM)
please leave a message and tell me what you think of this op! Quite a few members give out a Helpful but dont say why they don't think its a VH. Please do this as it would be appreciated greatly.
Advantages: Easy to use , One Of the original Chatrooms on the net Disadvantages: Poor Chatters now, Webtv & Australians
Ok where do i start with chathouse.
Chathouse was my first chatroom experience way back in the early nineties. I was gophering or archie one night ( i cant remember) and i stumbled across the aforementioned chathouse.
So i jumped into to the room called the hottub, this was one of the original rooms on the first floor along with the likes of the beach and The tunnel of love. Back then there was only six original rooms (i think due to server space ... ...of which enhanced the flow of people. Regularly the Chathouse used to get 2000 loginning on each night (BTW that is EST (US) night as many brits werent online back then)
My haunt became the tunnel of love with great friends like Caroline, sad poet, master mechanic, scarlet , spooky 42 and others who made the room special. This was a proper chatroom where you logged in and had proper conversations, a place where cyber sex rarely took place.
Then ...

Advantages: You can meet some really nice people Disadvantages: The idiots that can be in the rooms
I had heard about chatrooms in the press and magazines and was curious as to what they where all about so nearly three and a half years ago I went in to find out. Everyone was talking to each other about a variety of subjects and after going in a few times, started to get to know people as it seemed to be the same people in, at the same times each day. I made friends with quite a few nice people. Admittedly there was alot of numpties in there as ... ...you could tick to ignore these people so their messages did not come up. You just had to be cautious. There was always plenty of rooms where you could have a group of friends in to chat to without lots of numpties annoying you. I started to get addicted to it and whenever I had some spare time logged on. One night someone was talking about another site Chatting.com which had lots of people from the UK in it and that is when I met my husband. He was ...

Advantages: variety of people, "community" spirit Disadvantages: variety of people (leave me alone), "community" spirit (I thought I came in here to get away from it all!)
I discovered chathouse.com whilst I was a student and should have been in lectures or studying. While I no longer frequent the chat halls as I used to, the pull of the place still makes me go back occasionally.
Choose your room by genre (hip hop, teens), location (Canada, UK), privacy (public, private), have conversations in rooms (private or public messages) whilst still being able to block users you do not want to see. Send messages through the ... ...to see while you are chatting.
This is all very well and good, but the real reason this place is so busy is the fact that it is so popular with all. As with all chat rooms you can meet people from everywhere doing everything (or so they say!). Check it out because it's fun and you want to. You may just meet the person of your dreams - it's been known!! Best rooms in my opinion are on the "second floor". Check Mardi Gras or Halloween - you know you ...
