Bought a Sony car stereo, ordering was fine. When I checked the tracking number I was given, the package orginated from the US. I knew that US radios didn't work fully in Europe so I sent them a email making sure that the radio was built for European market. No reply. Tried ringing customer support line and all I got was answering machine.
A little over a week later package arrived.

Found through Ciao, though they no longer link to chepdealz.co.uk for this product.
My credit card was debited very quickly, the following day I found worringly that order was already marked as "Completed". Money was taken in America, not UK. No information was provided re delivery dates or carrier.
Found that they NEVER answer their phone nor return answerphone messages. Again these are routed to the USA.
Did get two responses to my many emails. ... ...of goods and promised refund, which has not been applied as promised.
Please check all other one star reviews for other collaborative information.
If in a similar position I suggest that you pursue a refund via your credit card company. Note that most want details of disputes WITHIN 60 DAYS OF TRANSACTION DATE.
Don't wait in hope too long for cheapdealz to address your problems or you'll be on your own. Also I assume that the more issues that ...

On 15th January I ordered a camera. The website looks good, and offers security. Shipment, it says, is within two days "no exceptions". It says you will receive an email detailing your tracking code or the order will be cancelled if not in stock. I have received nothing. I have sent four emails, which they guarantee to answer within 24 hours. Nothing has been received back.
I have tried phoning an 0800 number - which I believe redirects you to the ... ...to leave a message and they will return your call. The message box has been permanently full.
Maybe my reaction has been a little quick - but I became concerned when no tracking number or follow up email was received. I read the reviews on Ciao after I ordered - probably not wise. I am a little sceptical of the fantastic review which appears - I wonder whether it was written by a connected party?

Ordered my product, paid over £100 for an MP3 player that never arrived. Sent numerous emails to the site, never got a response. Phone number is on permanent answerphone, web chat never works, UK address of the site is fake - the office address is actually a completely innocent company called Capitek, whose very nice CEO is receiving numerous calls from customers that never received their goods
In my experience this is a complete con. If anyone ... ...to throw the money in the bin- it's less stress.
Basically i would advise you NEVER to buy anything from this site, unless you want to go through trading standards and your credit card company to recover your money. I can't beleive CIao actually link to this site ...

Advantages: Looks cheap (too good to be true!) Disadvantages: Is not a bona fide UK company. They are using fabricated details, modified from those of a real, legitimate and ethical public company to appear to be credible.
...the nature of this operation. Cheapdealz.co.uk are using an adapted and slightly altered version of Capitek's details (a highly reputable and honest public company that trades Internationally), to pass themselves off as a bona fide UK company. There is no such company as cheapdealz.co.uk Ltd on the UK Companies House system. They are falsely and fraudulently using the London address of Capitek plc without their consent and are in no way whatsover ... ...the necessary action to have cheapdealz.co.uk shut down. Apparent positive testimonials for cheapdealz.co.uk should be treated with the utmost suspicion and caution. Please see other comments and reviews by firms/individuals who have reported the activities of 'Cheapdealz' all over Europe. Please also note reviews from other Ciao users, so you may take informed action. ...
