Advantages all the cheats you will ever need
Disadvantages Dodgy site adverts
If you need all of your cheats in one place then look no further than the cheatbook database. It can be found at
www.cheatbook.deIt is a freeware utility that lists over 2400 cheats, tips and walkthroughs for just about every PC game ever released. It is updated regularly, which does require a full download of around 1.9Mb every time, but if you are a serious gamer it is well worth the effort.
The site also offers a customisable database for use with PC, N64 and Playstation, called the LX cheat container.Bringing the site bang up to date, there is also a new Playstation 2Cheatbook v1.0 specifically designed for the new PS2.
All cheats are easily accessed from alphabetised drop down menus and can be printed out for you to use whilst playing. You can also add your own cheats to the database if you are so inclined, but it does involve some text editing, so backup the files before you start. This may also be a wasted effort, as by the time you have entered all of your new games into the database, the new update probably includes them anyway.
If you don't fancy the download time, or you only require the odd cheat every now and again, all of the cheats are available online in printer friendly format. One word of warning, the site is not completely child friendly, as some of the adverts that support the site are soft porn sites.
Overall, a very basic site, with a very functional utility.
