ordered 4 dvds from choices direct, great value for money saved about 75P on average on all four . thought what a bargain.
waited and waited
and waited thought they would get here before xmas ordered end of november, wrong 5- 6 weeks for delivery.
then to top it all one dvd was boxed as region 2 - opened it up region 1, with for rental use only written on it.
3 days later IROBOT dvd arrived peeled the cellophane off opened the box NO dvd, empty ...

Advantages: Exceptional value for money Disadvantages: None that I experienced
I first discovered Choices Direct about 7 months ago. Since then I have not looked back. Any time you want a DVD or video it is worth checking out this web site. Any time I am looking to purchase a DVD I check this site and it is always cheaper than anywhere else. This is also enhanced by the free postage and packaging that is offered on any order. Lots of companies offer this but only if you spend over a certain amount. With Choices Direct this ... ...£3 it would still be sent to you free.
There are always special offers as well that consist of decent (not straight to video) films that people want to buy. The catergories for the discounted films tend to be by studio (Universal/Buena Vista) and then alphabetically. There is the option to search the site for specific titles, but sometimes it is nice to just browse the bargains that are on offer.

We first came across this site while looking for a gift. We had decided to purchase a video boxed set for a relative's christmas gift, and used an online price comparison guide. ChoicesDirect came up not only with the best price, but featured free postage and packing. We decided to place our order with them, and were not disappointed. Within seven days we had our order as promised, even though it was rather late in the holiday shopping season.
A ... ...It was by no means a recent release, but it was not a "classic" film either. We searched high and low at all the high street shops. We were even told at Blockbuster that they could not even order it for us because of the age of the film. Then we remembered ChoicesDirect. We logged onto the site, entered the film title, and up it popped. We ordered it and again, within seven days, we had our purchase in our hands.

I buy a lot of DVDs and a few videos so I was glad to find this site. The first thing you see upon entering the site is the amateurish site design. It is a very simple and easy to navigate layout, but it looks like they have let a child colour it in with a yellow and blue crayon.
Of course, you shouldn't judge a site on graphics only. There is still a chance to redeem itself by offering something special in another area. Price is that area. It also ... ...decorated in a tacky way.
I have not been able to find a website to date that has lower prices. I think that they do not keep anything that is not in the charts in stock, however, as all my orders have had to be obtained from the supplier. For this reason, only take up their offer of lowest price if you don't mind waiting a week or more for the product to arrive. If you like waiting, you can also take advantage of the 20 percent discount on pre-ordered ...

WOW...........what a find. I discovered ‘ChoicesDirect' when searching for a video on one of my personal favourite sites ‘ShopSmart', which allows you to compare prices froma varity of online shops, and noticed that the price on ‘ChoicesDirect' was considerably cheaper than any of the others. So I thought I better check it out. I'm glad to say I was not disappointed.
ChoicesDirect (.co.uk) is a web site that specialises in the sale of videos, DVDs ... ...It claims to sell every single video and DVD currently on release in the UK. That's over 25,000 . Hard to believe I know but one search on pretty much anything will normally get you a range of products to buy. It also offers ex-rental videos and DVDs at greatly reduced prices. Although a good idea it is marred rather by the fact that the selection is fairly limited and basically only includes fairly new releases
