I actually have been a member in this chat room for over a year now. I have made three valuable friends there and have found that it is nice to be in a chat room where people aren't constantly swearing or trying to chat you up! The fact that it is a christian chat room does mean that some 'weird' people go there, to cause trouble or ask alot of questions, or even to argue about faith, but the room is very well moderated so that any trouble makers ...

When my 13 yr old son said that he wanted to go to a chat room I was worried. I had heard so many stories about unsuitable material that I wanted to find a site that I was happy with. One place that I was sure wouldn't contain inappropriate language etc was a Christian site and as my son does go to church at least he would have something in common with the other users. ...have good normal friendly conversations. There are various different rooms including theological debate if you do want to discuss your beliefs, but my son just goes to the Teen room. They actually don't discuss their beliefs that often but chat about normal teen interests like music etc. He has since made some very good friends and enjoys his time there immensely. Does not allow me enough words to write here, but to say in my own personal experience, it's only good for the causal user, do not join, complete waste of time, and a con in many ways. I'm suffering depression because I've been banned, and now cannot use the chat, forum, my blog and they even deleted my own site from their top sites list. I find it appalling that a Christian organization should behave like this. They can remove your posting, move it, and warn you. In one case moved my postings and did not even tell me about it. Communication is very bad. For the causal user cool, but forget joining and God help you if you are feeling down.
