Advantages: Very reliable. Great support. Disadvantages: Cost.
I started using Clara net's dial-up as my ISP about 3 years ago. The service is extremely reliable and on the few occasions that I've needed support it has been very good.
I switched to their ADSL 512k service 18 months ago. It's certainly not the cheapest at £30 per month and it doesn't offer any incentives, such as a free modem, that other ISPs do. Switching to broadband was much simpler than I envisaged.
