Advantages: Very good prices, nice website Disadvantages: Extremely bad service and support
...loads fairly fast.
Overall Clubmobile.co.uk have an excellent website but really do need to work on their service. If their service was as good as their website, this really would be a very highly recommended place to buy your mobile phone from due to the prices of the phones that they offer. If you really want to take a look, then pop along to www.clubmobile.co.uk and enjoy! Just don’t buy a mobile from them! ...

Advantages: None apart from free mental S & M Disadvantages: As many as you can imagine and more.
BEWARE OF THIS SCAM.
Approx 2 weeks ago, I received an unsolicited call from a Clubmobile sales rep offering a free upgrade on my mobile phone. I agreed to the upgrade and the rep led me through the procedure. On receipt of the phone, I phoned Orange to activate it and discovered to my horror that the phone was not an upgrade but was on a new service plan with a new mobile number which had been added to my Orange account. Orange said an upgrade ... ...Clubmobile, I was passed from one dept to another (usual for them) and the end result was that I was to return the phone at my own expense. Luckily a close friend had recently cancelled an order with Clubmobile for the same phone and talk plan after being messed about for days on end and non-delivery of her order. She is now going to transfer the phone and new service plan to her name via Orange. At no time did the rep say that this was a new service ...

Advantages: Great value deals, good range etc Disadvantages: Customer services very inefficient, although polite enough at least
As a result of the fact that my fantastically economical Vodafone contract was to run out at the beginning of 2001, I was recently forced to buy a new phone. The experience was not a particularly exhilerating one and, before going on to review the eventual victor in the battle for my custom, I think I will offer some words of warning. If you listen to all the hype that is spewed out by mobile phone retailers with reference to number porting, you ... ...new contract is an almost efortless operation. All the adverts say so, and yet I found that not a single online company will port yout number - its too much effort and they need to keep costs low. Fair enough point, but all the best deals are online. For instance Phones4udirect (the online arm) offered a free T28 with all the accessories online, in the shop it was £50 with nothing. You can see why I wanted the first deal... but no porting, and even ...

Advantages: Theoretically a good mobile phone package Disadvantages: Impossible to communicate with, and difficult to obtain promised cashback
Twelve months ago I took out a mobile phone contract with Clubmobile, they supplied me with a nice Motorola phone, on the three network, at a monthly tariff of £35 per month, with half price line rental, on the basis of the first three months would be invoiced at half price, and then the second, third and fourth quarters would be refunded as a cashback. This seemed acceptable at the time, and initially everything was fine, three months passed, all ... ...sent in the appropriate invoice to Clubmobile for my cashback claim of half the the line rental for those three months.
Then..... nothing. I waited well beyond the 21 days that were printed in the contract, and attempted to contact them. I sent them e mails and faxes, all of which were totally ignored. I phoned their customer service number, and after 22 minutes of listening to piped music, being chargedas a national rate phone call, I eventually ...
