WEB BUILDING SECTION: This is a very useful section, which consists of Authoring and Site design, Programming and Scripting, Graphics and Multimedia, amongst others. There is tips, resources and general information on every aspect of web publishing, and is an absolute must for any webmaster, especially if you are a rookie and you are experiencing troubles with your attempts at a web page.
GAME CENTRE SECTION: Well this is very self-explanatory, as this is a section that has 1,000’s of Tips and Cheats for all platforms i.e. PC, Playstation, etc, as well as reviews, downloads, etc, and the latest prices guide for various games.
CNET CATCH-UP: This is about the most useful section of CNET, what it is, is complete update of your system. Alls you have to do, is download a very small program and run it, this will then inform you of any updates for things like Windows, DirectX, DLL’s, and other things that help your computer run better.
LATEST PRICES SECTION: This is probably only much use to our American friends as it is a price guide for all kinds of things like Computers, Multimedia, etc, but it is still a very up to the minute guide on the latest prices of things.
There is lots more on CNET that you’ll find very useful like Latest Tech news, Help and How to do’s, Auctions, etc and is an absolute must to bookmark, especially if you are new to computing and the internet, and I strongly recommend it for Everyone.
Advantages: Great web, one of the largest, great reviews, information and downloads. Disadvantages: None, if your after this sort of thing!

Advantages: Huge database of downloads. Its got EVERYTHING! Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

This site was recently brought to my attention via a friend and I have been visiting it quite frequently, it’s a very good download site in my opinion. It’s got so many good sections that it’s actually quite difficult to where to start. Well, the download section isn’t bad and you will the best and most common download files available here, from firewalls, to virus detectors to software like Corel. You can download Games, ... ...This section is really something, very compact and you can download most things, from ICQ, to web browser. This section is definitely worth checking out. Well, it doesn’t stop there you can read Hardware and software reviews on the latest products, so you never have to be stuck again. The reviews are not that bad, and I have been quite impressed. This is a great download site, you will find anything from the best games to fax machines for your pc. This is the only site i download from as it is a secure site and you can be content in the knowledge that what you are downloading is what you are after.
