Well I'm fastly approaching the big one (40) in August and my hair is getting greyer by the minute. I was wondering what i would look like with a different hair colour. On entering the page, a big 105 appears and starts loading the site. The company Schwarzkopf are famous for their hair colours and here is a chance to see what you would look like without buying. You can test the hair colours on a model or on your own photo.
I had a photo saved in my documents of myself so if you click on "Try 105" it leads you to a section with those choices. I clicked on "on your own picture" and then proceed to download a small file. You can either save it to disk or open it from its current location. Then a box will appear in a new window , I clicked on Load picture and another box appears where you can select your saved photo. The good thing is , at the side it lets you see which photo you have selected before you click open.
Once you are happy with the selected photo, you select Quality. This gives you tools to adjust the picture to your liking. You can rotate the photo if you like. You can lighten or darken the photo. The next thing is the Mask. This gives you the tools to outline the parts of the hair in which you would like to colour. You just click on the photo and a cross appears, you then outline your hair and fill the parts in , you can give yourself streaks if you like. After that click on Natural haircolour, a box will appear underneath where you can choose your natural hairclour. Once you have clicked on the colour, a little chart appears with 80 different colours and shades on it. All you do is click on the one you fancy and your hair gets instant colour added to your photo.
After you have chose your hair colour you have got the choice where you can send the " new you" to a friend by email. Or if you fancy buying the colour it leads you to the website again. here you can go shopping for the selected colour. There is a box for selecting the colours, there are 105 to choose from , hence the name.
With your colouring kit you get good gloves, conditioner all in a tidy box, the price is about £13.50. I decide not to buy as it was a permanent colour, I think I will buy a sample sachet first from the local shop.
I did think the site was ok for though, if not for a bit of fun. Also if you haven't got a photo of yourself , there is always a Model on hand on the page.
