Disadvantages: After spending many moments trying to think of some I just can't seem to think of any.

I joined the Computer Futures agency in August 2000, I was looking for a way forward on my chosen career path. All it took was one call to their one of their London offices and the search was on. After they had received my CV they fixed me up with 3 Interviews spread throughout the London area, I had two interviews in the Isle of Dogs. As I hadn't been to London before I did't have much of an idea of where I was going or how to get there, Computer ...
...interview they asked if I could ring back to give them a feel on how I thought the interview had gone Computer Futures then guided me on to the next interview. This also continued for the third interview which was in central London. It was a hard days work; which really paid off. The level of service was very high and their staff are very friendly and helpfull. The company has a very good standard of customer relations and will definitly be my first ... Read review

a typical online recruitment agency
Review of computerfutures.com by HCumb

Advantages: none so far
Disadvantages: fake jobs advertised, very unhelpful staff

Anyone who has searched for jobs through online recruitment agencies must recognise the process. They advertise a vacancy, you send your CV and covering letter, and 90% of the times you get no response at all. Many of the most attractive positions (with unrealistically high salaries) are fake, and just act as a bait for highly qualified candidates, who then end up in completely different positions than those they applied for. I registered with Computer ...
...scientific position that they advertised (they have some of those from time to time). It was a very specialised role, I have worked in the field for years and I was the perfect candidate. The advert stated 'send us your CV and covering note and then give Mr Soandso a call at ...'. So I did; I posted my CV and a brief covering note and then I spent a couple of weeks trying to contact Mr Soandso - in vain. He was usually 'on the other line, so please ... Read review

Computer Futures Solutions
Review of computerfutures.com by cddiment

Advantages: None any more
Disadvantages: Fake jobs, no returned calls, CV gatherers, self absorbed.

I contracted through Computer Futures back in 2001 for several contracts and the service was good, my agent was friendly and was always contactable and was even happy to meet up in person to catch up. Unfortunetly in 2006 thing are very different. They constantly advertise non-existant jobs, they don't return e-mails or calls for these jobs. When I complained that I never received detailed information about these jobs, I got an e-mail back saying ...
...me if you want to know more, they then proceeded to e-mail me the same job several times in one day. Also I called about one job, mentioned I had an interview somewhere and mysteriously this was possibly the same job, but he wouldn't tell me who the job was with to confirm, he wanted me to tell him. They don't care about the client these days now that the second .com boom is mild and they have to actually work for their money. Shame. ... Read review
