I joined the Computer Futures agency in August 2000, I was looking for a way forward on my chosen career path. All it took was one call to their one of their London offices and the search was on. Advantages: none so far Disadvantages: fake jobs advertised, very unhelpful staff
Anyone who has searched for jobs through online recruitment agencies must recognise the process. Advantages: None any more Disadvantages: Fake jobs, no returned calls, CV gatherers, self absorbed.
I contracted through Computer Futures back in 2001 for several contracts and the service was good, my agent was friendly and was always contactable and was even happy to meet up in person to catch up.

When I complained that I never received detailed information about these jobs, I got an e-mail back saying ... ...me if you want to know more, they then proceeded to e-mail me the same job several times in one day.
Also I called about one job, mentioned I had an interview somewhere and mysteriously this was possibly the same job, but he wouldn't tell me who the job was with to confirm, he wanted me to tell him.
They don't care about the client these days now that the second .com boom is mild and they have to actually work for their money.
Shame. ...
