Here comes the bride, here comes the bride.

Wedding season is fast approaching and as I had the lucky experience of
organising my wedding last year I thought I'd share with you a little
godsend that helped me through - the website confetti.

The website can be found at www.confetti.co.uk and like its name
suggests it is a wedding website. Everything you ever wanted to know, or
didn't want to know for that matter, about getting married is listed on
this site.

It is an extremely easy site to navigate. There is a tool bar at the top
of the page which takes you to various different sections such as
Weddings, Fashion and Beauty, Venues, and Honeymoons etc. As you can
guess each section then gives a very informative overview of what, for
example, venues are available in your area, how to contact them etc.

Another great section they have is the confetti shop. You can
firstly order a brochure from them if you like to view their products in
a magazine but it is also easy to browse on the computer too. Confetti
sells just about anything you can imagine. My husband and I had the
bright idea of making all our invites, order of services, favours and
place cards so we turned to Confetti for some help/inspiration. They
have a great selection of cards/paper/boxes etc that is either plain or
has a theme that you can then build into your theme for the day. For our
favours we ordered little blue boxes that we then tied ribbon around
that had our names on it. We also got the ribbon from Confetti as they
do a great range of products that you can personalise. All the items
come in a big range of colours as well so you are guaranteed to be able
to match your colour theme with the rest of the day.

A lot of the things you can buy come flat packed so you assemble them
yourself. I think this is really nice as it adds to the build up of your
special day, gives you and your hubbie to be something to do together
and means more on the day. We got a lot of positive comments from people
who loved what we had done and said made the day really special.

Confetti also had a great range of gifts for your bridesmaids, best man,
father of the bride etc such as cufflinks, necklaces all wedding themed
that are hard to find anywhere else.

The prices on the website are quite reasonable. For example a pack of 10
of the little boxes we bought were £5.99. Ok, so you have to buy quite a
few packs for all your guests but in my opinion it is worth it and
cheaper than if you bought them all ready made.

Ordering on the web was very easy and then often give you money off your
next order so that is nice as we ordered quite a few times. The products
arrived within the week but if you do personalise something this takes a
bit longer, they say 21 days but in reality it was a lot less than this.

They also have a forum on the website where you can upload your details
and have your own wedding page where you can write about your
experiences and how things are going. It's really fun to read other
peoples engagement, wedding, honeymoon stories and you do get a lot of
tips and advice too which is nice.

Confetti run competitions also fairly often to win things like a
dress/makeover/gifts. I entered a few but unfortunately didn't win
anything.

I feel if you knew absolutely nothing about planning a wedding and had
no idea where to start this is the perfect site for you as it virtually
plans the whole event for you.
