Quick review of cqout.com

One fatal flaw with CQOut - no option specify different postal rates for different zones of the world - i.e. I charge £5.50 to ship an item internationally, but only £3.50 in Europe, but this is not possible to specify in CQOut and the system just takes the higher postal price as the international shipping rate, and disregards the lower rate. I contacted them about this but they said they had no plans to introduce any tiered postal rates. :( That spoiled it for me, I put 1300 items on and never made any sales, so I never went back. I'm concentrating on Ebid instead. ...

CQout - A needle in the haystack

Advantages: Security, Hassle free sales, no listing fees
Disadvantages: Less members than ebay

This is a brilliant website that takes security seriously. The in house payment systems make for fast yet secure and reliable methods of payment compared to Ebay. I have bought from there twice and have both times been extremely happy with the service i get. There are less scammers on CQOut than on Ebay due to the £1 fee for signing up which is ultimately given to charity anyway. The feedback is nearly always without a negative and this is due to ...
...negative feedbacks The serice is useful to both buyers and sellers and helps both sides get what they want without any hassle The only thing I can think about that might make the site look less useful than Ebay is the amount of members it has. It is the second biggest auction site in the UK but need more users . This will surely come soon though with a good reputation for security that cannot be matched by Ebay. Would recommend this site to anyone ...

Quick review of cqout.com

I find CQOut a refreshing change to eBay, and it is streets ahead of the likes of eBid. Customer support levels are excellent. I received a neg from somebody unjustifiably, and CQOut removed it before I even realised it was there! How's that for customer service? eBay please take note. Plus, the free listing is nice. Traffic is not as good as eBay, but it is picking up and it is worth perservering. ...

CQout is not worth the Grief

Advantages: I can't think of any
Disadvantages: You'll be ripped off - avoid, since you'll end up wasting money

Please save yourself a lot of grief and simply avoid CQout. Just walk away, as the saying goes. They place too much focus on protecting the seller's ability to rip you off, with no intention of looking after your rights. In Jan 07 I paid £25 to Cybercheckout via the CQout site. I have yet to recieve the goods, or the refund cheque which I was promised. Repeated e-mails, and attempts to involve PayPal in the dispute have been unsuccessful. Foolishly, ...
...of conducting a transaction: you pay for the goods, wait for and receive them. Sadly, this is not the case with CQout, and the traders which they allow to prey on the unsuspecting buyers out there. Do not use CQout. Use ebay, as they are a hundred times more reliable. CQout will ensure that you're out of pocket. ...

CQout, Don't Bother You Won't Miss a Thing

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Favours the Seller and Never Encourages the Buyer

CQout is frankly a rubbish site that actually seems to favour the seller instead of encouraging the buyer. BUYERS BEWARE. I recently logged an "Instant Bid" for a laptop Wireless LAN Card. I had to contact the seller, as although he advertised that he accepted PayPal on the item he did not have a registered email with them when I tried to pay, STRANGE EH! When I called him he said that as PayPal fees were exorbitant he had stopped dealing with them. ...
...the page. There seemed to be a foreign ring tone on a UK phone number as well when I called him. He also told me that he was from Africa. Alarm bells rang. I wasn't happy with this at all. It was then I started digging further and discovered that he was selling a warehouse proportion of goods but operated out of a private address in Northern Ireland. I realised that the seller had over 21,000 items for sale but no stats, good or bad. Seemed like ...
