Advantages: Quality products carefully packed and quickly delivered. Disadvantages: Can occasionally be more expensive than their competitors.
I've shopped with cucina direct on several occasions over about eight years. In fact when I started shopping with them they were called Divertimenti and they were better known for their rather swish London shop than for their mail order operation. A month later I was charged twice (both orders had apparently registered), but three weeks later had seen neither products nor any evidence of attempted delivery. I'm still trying to get a refund.... ... ...albeit not at particularly good prices, but seems totally incapable of delivering. It blamed problems on suppliers and Royal Mail (my exprience of RM has generally been very good), rather than admitting its own failure. I recommend avoiding this site and its sister company Scotts of Stow (they did manage to deliver after a month, but the product was broken!) . ...
