Advantages: Smells GREAT! Disadvantages: Does not serve its purpose well!
...I am afraid that this wax did not meet my expectations at all! I must admit, in all honesty, that the wax does smell absolutely divine! If i was to buy the wax purely based on the smell, i would buy it and wear it everyday of the year!
However, i need more from a wax than just the smell! What more could i need? A reasonable price? granted, this product provides that! But does it serve its purpose as a long lasting, remouldable hair product?
No! IS THE SIMPLE ANSWER. Instead, it leaves a greasy, oily residue which creates a messed up, greasy appearance. Secondly, it washes out easily, which means when it rains, the wax proceeds to run down your face and becomes what can only be described as a sticky mess. But hey, the smell certainly attracts the ladies like a flower attracts bee's! For someone with short hair the product is perfect...

Advantages: Versatile, Good consistency and resonably priced Disadvantages: changes packaging design too often
...These days, hair care products seem to go through more image changes than Madonna, and Trevor Sorbie's Mg (male grooming) range is certainly as guilty as the rest of the bunch. For example the last review of Trevor Sorbies StylingWax is at least 2 image changes ago, and describes the wax as being in a small clear glass 75ml pot.
The stylingwax now comes in a bigger 100ml browny/grey circular metal pot and is beefed up in design to match the rest of the Mg fleet. I must admit to being caught out by the packaging change on a few occasions, but when you lift the lid on this wax, you automatically know you've found the right one. So what is it about this wax that makes it more stylish than the competition?
The Wax Factor
A lot of hair waxes tend to be really gooey and although this makes them instantly easy to apply, they have...

Advantages: good hold Disadvantages: difficult to get out of hair.
...Before I finally managed to get hold of some OSIS mess-up wax, there was only one choice for me as far as hair wax went, namely Trevor Sorbie Professional Range Wax. The product is distinctive in a frosted glass flat jar, with a silver and coloured label as per the photo (taken by me!), having formerly been in a brown container, as per the then colour range for the entire Sorbie range. I had originally discovered it having used Trevor Sorbie Styling Gel, having discover the TS range originally through a free sample from freeukstuff.co.uk – they’ve certainly made the money back for the postage etc. as I seem to use a large number of their hair products.
The wax is yellow in colour, the same as my American Banana Wax (used to get it from my stylist when I was at Uni in Scotland – perhaps I might pop back to St Andrews to John Alan just...

~ ~ The mad cabbie generally has a simple rule of thumb when it comes to getting a haircut. When it get long enough that it takes more than 10 seconds and a perfunctory rub with a towel to dry it once I get out of the shower, then it’s past time to visit more
I have only had my legs professionally waxed once, years ago. At the time I was amazed how this was removed all of the hairs in one go and they didn`t grow back for a few weeks. That was the one and only time, I didn`t think it hurt much, it was... more
