What does it sell?

Well, just about anything Computer orientated really. In fact, its not just solely a PC supplier.
It also sells TV`s,DVD, Stereos and Mobile phones too.

You name it they have it. All arranged into the relevant product sections such as scanners, Mass Data Storage, Memory and Processors.

Not only do they have these products but an entire range of different suppliers and manufacturers who promise good, cheap and reliable products.

What is the site like?

Very disorganised if you have not used it before. Takes some getting used to. Navigation is clumsy to say the least. Once you learn how to search and find what you want, it becomes second nature.

What is the search facility like?

It returns exactly what you search for if you can find the fields to enter some search criteria.
The boxes for searching by are at the top of the page, just below the sponsorship banners.
You can either do a normal search which returns all relevant matches or a Quick Search which matches only exact matches.
Handy if you know what you want.
Considering the size of the database that this must require, the search results come back quickly and accurately.

How are the products organised?

Very well. If you know you want a Hewlett Packard CD Writer, you can select all H.P. CRW from the list when it lists all CRW by Supplier/Manufacturer. Great if you know what you want.
It also shows you the different suppliers of a certain product. Handy for comparing the different manufacturers in price and performance.

How cheap is it?
----------------
Suprisingly cheap. OK, look hard enough and you will probably find cheaper out there but that is the beauty of Dabs. One stop to find what you want.
I find it very reasonable.

What is the stock like?
-----------------------
varies from item to item. If it is stock they carry, they never have many of one particular item in. The good thing is the order tracking keeps you informed as to how many items Dabs has in stock.

Whats the delivery time like?
-----------------------------
Very good. If the item is in stock its normally with you in a couple of days. If it is out of stock, you are at the mercy of the suppliers.

Overall?

A good little idea with a bad website. A bit of work on their sales pitch and DABS could be the force in the market place with their products.
