Two days ago, i ordered this pioneer dvd writer dvr109xl, or what i thought was drv109xl.
there are two different models of it, dvr109xl and dvr109bk, which look quite different
while the former one is quite rare in uk(i dont know why). I found this product listed on
dabs.com

View.htm?quicklinx=3LMF , it is branded as dvr109 without and further information about
its model. however, the picture is one of dvr109xl. suspecting it could be the listed with
the wrong picture, i sent my query to the dabs asking which model this product really is.
then i recieve this useless reply, in which they said they were not allowed to give any
presale advice and the customer should find out themselves before placing their order.
alright! but how? is this what customer service supposed to mean?? to tap customers by
giving the wrong information? naively, i place my order thinking as a big company they must
be serious with their service. how wrong i was!! today, i recieved this thing. it is really
appaling to for me to open and see this oem unpacked thing, a dvr109bk . i was shocked.
cheaters!!! they couldnt even bother to find the correct prictures (or this was just intentional, u never know). because 109xl looks more attractive? but we consumers are at least entitled to know the truth, and they should at least try to pass the truth to us when they were made known the situation. i shall never trust this company. and i dont suggest any of the readers to buy anything from someone you can never turst. god knows what they are gonna send finally. i have learnt this lesson for those who havent at the expense of my money. and i shall be happy if this could save any one of the readers money and trouble. Be cautious dabs.com!! Im not the only victim and would not be the last one.
