Dark Chronicle is a game that excels in many areas, but its main drawback is the fact that it can be a little repetitive at points and has the potential to take well over 100 hours to explore every facet of the game.
The story starts with a short but effective battle tutorial that it is possible to lose if you are a complete incompetent. After a dramatic murder scene, you are introduced to one of the two main characters, called Max, and eventually, ... ...is probably the main reason Dark Chronicle takes so long to complete.
There isn’t a great deal of skill that you need to fight in the beginning. This is because there are very few forms of attack. The only skill you need to have for this is timing your attack and defence. As the monsters get harder later on in the game, you will need a little more skill, but for the most part it is merely memorising the attack patterns of your enemies. Mostly, it ...

Dark Chronicle is the sequel to Dark Cloud. The game begins in the quiet town of Palm Brinks which has been shut off from the rest of the world for some time. The game starts with a character called Monica who has a fight. After defeating the bad guys the story then cuts to a young male inventor called Max. Max dreams of travelling the world and decides to visit the circus. When he gets to the big top the evil ringmaster ... ...point where I do not even notice the music!

The sequel to Dark Cloud, I can easily call this the best RPG game ever. For a start, I wouldn't put this game into just one genre - it includes many different gameplay elements. In addition to combat and exploration which makes up most of the game, there is also:
#Georama #Recruiting ... ...-----------------------------------
Dark Chronicle uses cel-shaded models which gives the characters and scenery more depth. Much thought has gone into the making of this game.
The only bad aspect of this game is the annoying, childish music and the fact that the levels do get a bit samey towards the end.
Well worth its money though. A must-buy to all PS2 fans out there. I have had it a year and I haven't even finished it 100% yet. Get a walkthrough ...

Advantages: Great Game Disadvantages: Can get slightly repetitive if you are after all secrets.
Dark Chronicle is the sequel to Dark Cloud. There is one town left in the world which is slowly dying. Max, your character, is plunged into the conflict when Monica, a princess from the future, arrives and reveals that the world is being destroyed to erase the future. Using resources gained from the dungeons and the town, Max and Monica attempt to rebuild the world in the present to allow the future to exist. There are only two characters, but you ... ...a much wider feel than Dark Cloud, with a number of subquests. Max can take photographs of items and use them to create inventions, weapons and equipment. Monica can turn into monsters and talk to the dungeon creatures, an interesting ability (especially since it seems most monsters just complain). Fishing is back, but this time you can race them, breed them and cook them. Another welcome addition is "spheda" a form of golf played on dungeon levels ...

Advantages: Looks great, loads and loads to do Disadvantages: Maybe too much for some people!
This game is huge. Best to say that now, to play through all of it will take an absolute age. This will eihter make you want it or put you off it depending on how long you like to play games for. Theres loads and loads to do in it, obviously theres the story to follow, you design towns, solve puzles, breed fish, invent objects, play golf, go fishing... this list of activitis is huge. This is good in many respects as theres lots of hours of fun to ...

Advantages: Reasonable story | Quite good battle system Disadvantages: Looks rushed | Gameplay annoyances | Never excels
...a wasted turn. To add to the aggravation SP doesn’t actually count towards anything helpful so the inclusion in the game must merely to bring the fact home that these people are facing weird monsters but it just annoys the player instead. Another gripe with the system is Yuri and his Malice. When defeating monsters their dead souls build up Malice and if this gets too high then Yuri can suffer the consequences. To quell the Malice, Yuri needs to visit the graveyard every time it fills up but, with rewards being a few paltry items, this process is just another annoyance.
Visually, at a time where we’ve had the delights of Final Fantasy X and DarkChronicle to look at on the PS2, Shadow Hearts falls way behind the current standard. While the opening FMV is quite impressive (if a little wooden) the rest of the game is distinctly...

Advantages: Truly incredible graphics, a technical powerhouse, perfect controls, 80+ hours play time Disadvantages: Some 'dungeons' outstay their welcome, small battle qualms
...When it emerged that Japanese developers Level-5 (part of Square-Enix) were working on a space-based role-playing adventure, it was hard not to be enthusiastic given their previous track record on the PS2, which has included the likes of DarkChronicle and Dragon Quest. Rogue Galaxy follows in this fine cel-shaded lineage, and though it took forever to reach Europe, it has been more than worth the wait.
The story is an inevitably lengthy one that sees Jaster Rogue, a young orphan from a backwater planet, being whisked into space, discovering he is of a special bloodline and that he's more or less the only hope for saving mankind. Star Wars lawyers at the ready then, though the chief difference is Jaster travels the galaxy as part of a troop of space pirates - though you're still technically the good guys.
Technically...
