Quite a while ago, I signed up for Delphi Forums, and they where not much cop, as a matter of fact, they where pretty plain and not much going for the site, but recently after reading Keith “Flashpointz” opinion on them and also getting recommended to them by Keith, regarding information on Paid to Surf Programs, I thought I would give them another try.
WOW, were my first thoughts, how things have improved dramatically and the ammount of changes and added options are very noticeable straight-away.
What are Delphi Forums?
Well a lot of you who use the Yahoo Forums as well as other Forums, will have a firm idea what Forums are, and what use they are, but for those who don’t really know, A Forum is basically a site or a community, where you go and find first hand information about virtually any subject you desire, there are
millions of different Forums floating around the Internet with the likes of Yahoo, MSN, Romulus, etc, but in my opinion, Delphi is a cut above them all.
What is special about Delphi Forums?
Well firstly, the forum itself is a lot more attractive and easy to surf than most of the others, and is very professionally made; they have lots of great features on their site, here is a quick description of some of them.
The forums themselves: When you first go to Delphi, you have the option to become a member, I advise you do this, as you’ll be able to leave your own messages and even compose your own Forums (you can still look around, without becoming a member) and thus enabling yourself, to get advice off people on the Forum. Once you’ve signed up, its time to take a look inside, on the first page, there is a long list of categories and descriptions of the Forums you desire, these are the categories:
Business/Finance Civic/Government Companies Computers Creative Arts Current Events Education Entertainment Family/Parenting Games Health and Wellness Hobbies and Craft Home Life Internet and Web Lifestyles Motor Transport Religion/Spirituality Science and Space Sports/Recreation Support/Recovery Tastes and Trends Travel and Places
So as you see, there is virtually every single need covered for in here, to enter your desired subject, just click on the required Category, and that will take you inside the category and give you a long list of Forums to do with that subject, and believe me, there are 1,000’s of forums in each Category, so your sure to find a suitable one, you can also search all the Forums to locate your desired subject.
Chat-rooms: Yes, as well as just forums, there are lots of chat-room available on this site, and they are very reliable and quick loading, unlike the Yahoo Forum/Chat rooms to which are very temperamental, but these Delphi Chat-rooms, seem well better and they get very busy, once again, there is a large variety of Chat-rooms in here, so you’ll certainly find one to suit you.
What’s Hot: This you’ll find on the first page, and is just a forum about the latest hot topics, so if you are badly into current affairs, you’ll enjoy this Forum.
Today’s Most Active: This is just a list on the most active forums of the day, in other words, the forum that has attracted the most posts and discussions.
My Forums: This will keep a list of the Forums and Chat-rooms, which you have visited recently, thus stopping you forgetting where to find something that interested you earlier in the week, and also saves you having to bookmark them all.
Create your own FREE Forum: Yes, if you think you have a decent subject or just want one to keep in touch with people, you wouldn’t believe how easy it is to set-up a new Forum.
Profiles: You can make your own profile up, in other words: Your name, where you’re from, Occupation, and even place a photo of yourself, this is useful in the chat-rooms, as it enables you to actually see who you are talking to and allows you to private message or even e-mail them.
All in all, Delphi Forum’s is a superb place to find anything that interests you and allows you to gain important information on things like the latest Paid-to-surf programs, etc. So why not pop along yourself, and see if you like what you see.
