For many, life at work can often be stressful, unrewarding, perhaps even just down-right confusing. Whilst there are those out there who are doing their ideal job, (and if you're one of them, kudos to you), for most people working life is simply a matter of getting from one coffee to the next, with conflicting demands from line-managers or supervisors, frustrations with deadlines and conversations often so bizzare you couldn't make them up. Advantages: Very funny Disadvantages: Some bosses do not like it!
Dilbert is hilarious. In a previous job I had a pointy headed boss. Oh, he hid his pointy headedness from senior management, but everyone working underneath him knew full well who (or rather, what) he really was!
He would come out with pointless psychobabble weasel phrases and would get flustered whenever anyone asked him to explain what he had just said!
