It has been my general experience when taking out insurance over the years that banks are very uncompetitive when it comes to travel.
while hsbc may be able to offer comprehensive banking advice and opportunities around the globe, bear in mind that this reputation may not extend to all the newer services that it decides to offer in order to trey and capture a share of other markets.
best to try web-based companies that specialise in insurance rather than general financial services. they will provide a better range of services - often at a lower rate.
