Advantages Broad Range, cheap prices

Disadvantages The delivery charge is too expensive

Direct Cosmetics does exactly what it's name suggests, directly delivers cosmetics and toiletries to your door.

They sell a broad range of heavily discounted items such as:

Cosmetics
lipstick, foundation, mascara, eyeliner, nail varnish, eye shadow, blusher, make-up brushes

Household
toothbrushes, hairbrushes, towels, cotton wool

Body Care
Self-tan, moisturiser, soap, lotion, cleansing products, fragrance, make-up remover, false nails

If you are looking for a bargain, you will definitely be pleased with this company. You can get an £8 mascara (Revlon for instance) for £3! That’s over half price off. And most fragrance has at least £10 off the actual selling price, so they are like duty free prices.

I think most of the items are either unused testers, miniatures (My advice, look out for the size of the product you are after to make sure it’s either a miniature or full size) or last seasons’ stuff that cannot be sold in high street shops

First thoughts when I went to this site were, nice layout, clear navigation system, nice graphics (At the moment there's a cute baby on the home page, definately a site aimed at females!) and it loads quickly. They have a nice feature, which allows you to go directly to new items that have been added or to an even more price-slashed section.

They have a male and female section so products (Like fragrance) don't get mixed up and ordered wrongly.

The search facility is excellent too as you can search by the type of product (Like Eyeliner or Self-Tan) or the manufacturer (So if your looking for Max Factor in particular, all products made by them will appear)

My experiences of this sites service and products have been really good, although the odd eye shadow has arrived to my house cracked. This is quite annoying seeing that I've paid £3.95 for the delivery! At least it came within 3 working days from confirmation of my order. That is a disadvantage and also they have limited colour choices for items like lipstick, e.c.t. Also, they could package items better, as a padded envelope is not really gonna safeguard my eyeliners and shadows (Hence why they have arrived cracked!)

I would recommend these guys to anyone who like to pamper them selves from time to time!
