I made a simple mistake with a booking on the direcferries.co.uk website. On calling them immediately afterward, they refused to refund my money saying that I was within the 7 days of travel. It is terrible customer dis-service, and has left we with a sense of being cheated.
Trying to save the situation, I looked to re-book onto another ferry. The operator asked me to wait whilst he called P&O Ferries. He said that the company was not picking up the phone, so please could I call him back later to try and re-book. I felt it would have been faster to talk directly with P&O.
My recommendation is to book directly with ferry companies, as using this intermediary is only likely to cause you additional stress. Good luck.
