I ordered a charger and rechargeable batteries from this company in early December 2008. They promptly delivered a different model. When I contacted them, they asked me to return it for replacement. This I did. Guess what? They returned the same incorrect item saying that it was correct but the packaging had changed. Not so - it was a different model and did not include the car charging lead shown and stated in their advert. By this time the item that I wanted was only available from other sources at a higher cost. The only option I had was to accept this less functional model. piss poor service ! I ordered a SD card from them. It took 2 weeks to get to me but they still charged my card at the point of order. They failed to respond to my emails.
In the end I got trading standards to investigate because they may be in breach of legislation in respect to their ambigous T&C's regarding stock levels and whether or not they should be charging cards in advance of dispatch.
the prices might be good but their customer service and T&C's let them down. ...

Dreadful! Photographs uploaded to their site in May, no prints delivered, 2 e-mails unanswered to date (12 Aug). About to report them to VISA in hope of recovering my money. Zero stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ...

I did receive the photos as ordered, within a week or so. However, some of the photos (3% or so) had ugly orange stains on them, making those photos useless... ...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: I didn't recieve my order!
For a number of years I have used this company for processing my films and everything has been ok. So as I now have a digital camera I ordered some prints on line. I received an e-mail from world pay to say the payment had been made - then I received an e-mail from directphoto thanking me for my order and I should receive it within 3-5 days. My money was taken on the 16th April. I tried to ring them yesterday but you just get a message saying 'sorry ... ...message'. I did get through today and was told they had not received my order - but they have taken my money! they said they would refund this (didn't ask me for details except the order number so they must be storing creidt card numbers! or they have no intention of refunding). Haiving read a previous review I don't hold out much hope of a refund! Do these people need investigating or are they going bust - someone said Truprint had taken them over ...
