It sells new and used videos, DVDs and CDs, but the videos and DVDs are sold in US format so the videos are not PAL and the DVDs are Region 1 which is fine if you have a machine that accepts them. I first used Djangos a couple of months ago after a friend recommended them to me. The reason for using them? They sell second hand DVD’s. Bargain, second hand DVD’s a third of the price you would get them for over here. Usually the price of shipping to the UK from a USA website puts the price up and makes it not worth bothering about but if you spend more than $50 (under £40) they ship for free. ...depending on what they have in when you are buying. I would imagine Djangos to be a type of Blockbuster Video type shop but I’m only guessing! Well this is a web site that I would recommend to anyone. I have used their site loads of times to buy DVDs and CDs and never had any problems. I've never had any order cancelled, had damaged items and most importantly not had any horrible little cards from the posite saying the order did not have all the VAT paid, give us some dosh!! I reakon that I've bought over £400 worth of stuff from them over the years, mainly used CDs - which again never ...
...think I've experienced any times when the website has been unavaiable and the search facility is very good, with the ability to search CD titles, artists and DVD/video all in the 1 hit. The only slight downside is that (obviously) cause its American then how much you pay depends on exchange rate your credit/debit card issuer uses. I have never come across a more unprofessional and apalling Director of Customer Service. I placed an order with this company back in October and I have yet to receive it. Twice since then I had politely emailed asking for an update as I wanted it for Christmas, no one ever replyed to me.
