We decided to stay in Reims, the Lyon. The hotels were all ibis, the french chain. They were situated a bit too near the motorway , but were very clean and had ample facilities for an over night stay.
There were hotel vouchers sent with the receipts about three weeks before we went. Everything went to plan. The total price including three nights accomodation and return crossing were £268 which i thought was very good. The site is excellent and i phoned them to tell them that, the man was really friendly and thanked me for the comment. There really is an awful lot to this site, you can click on the country you want to visit then click on the hotel and view the pictures. You can also pick travel insurance. If you don't want to book a hotel you can book a self catering holiday which leads you to another site called interhome.co.uk.
I can't rate this site enough and will use it again next time we go to France.

I have this week booked our family holiday to the south of france, this year with drive alive/interhome and I must say that if the accomodation is as good as it looks then we will be doing so again in the future.

Well laid out and easy to naviagte. Options for lots of extras such as pool or close to the beach, skiing etc. Not only this but all the time when selecting your holiday it is narrowing down your search. Firstly you select the ... ...and several others) then the region of said country, then the grade of accomodation and extras that you require. Enter the necessary dates and beds etc and the site does the rest. The option to travel by ferry from all major routes is available as is the channel tunnel and you can even book stopovers en-route to your destination. So you can be assured that you havent got any hassles after booking.
