THE DUBIT NETWORK:
Dubit is a company set up to give more for teenagers across the UK. There are loads of different things it does. Firstly there is the Dubit.co.uk website. On the site you can do as little or as much as you want. You need to be a member to be able to use all their facilities. Membership is easy to make and it takes about 2 minutes. Once you have made a membership you can add a blog and pictures if you want (I have not bothered). Then you are ready to go. You can use dubit chat which allows you safely to chat to other users. You can get a dubit card which I talk about in another review. DUBIT INFORMER:
Dubit Informer is a site which allows 11-25 year olds participate in surveys about all sorts of things. The ones I have had, have been about, TV, pocket money, internet, play jam (games you can play on sky TV), climate change, banking and many more. You get paid to answer these surveys.
You have to make a separate account on this site which is a bit more detailed. You fill in all sorts of questions but it is not very taxing as it is tick boxes!! Here are some examples of the questions, what are your favourite individual activities, what are your favourite team activities, what is your favourite designer brand, what is your favourite sports brand, how much time do you spend watching TV, what is your favourite magazine. It takes about 10 minutes to do. Unlike loads of companies once you have given them your e-mail address they NEVER send you spam.
Once you have made your account you are ready to go. On the homepage there are quick links to the surveys, about us, balance, newsletter, my profile and a place where you can change your date of birth. Each week a newsletter comes out you can read it online and it gets delivered to you by e-mail. Unlike many company newsletters this one is brilliant. It's not just about dubit as it tells you all the interesting stuff that is happening around the world. Also on the newsletter are links to the week's surveys.
The surveys themselves are great and fun to do. There are between 1 and 6 surveys out each week (normally there are 2 or 3). Each one pays differently you get between 50p and £2 a survey. They do not take very long to do, on average I would say 2 minutes. But the more you get paid the longer the survey.
Once you have reached £25 you can get the money by a bank transfer. That is the only problem I can think of about Dubit Informer, it takes ages to make that £25. I have been doing it for about a month and have made £4.50.
Every now and then you will get an e-mail saying that Dubit Informer is doing something special. For example I got an e-mail yesterday morning it went a bit like this.
Welcome to this special Informer newsletter!
What we would like you to do is spend 5-10 minutes a day first of all writing a diary and then some questions in front of a video camera. This would be every day for 7 days, you would get £40 for this and you would need to send me the tape at the end of next week.
What we need: 1) A boy aged 11-12 years old who lives in the south of England. 2) A girl aged 9-10 who lives in the south of England. 3) A girl aged 11-12 who lives in the Midlands If you think you would like to take part then please reply and also show this email to one of you parents first to get their permission.
Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from you tomorrow.
If I was the right age I would do this as it sounds great and you get £40! I think it is really good informer do this and give people different sorts of opportunities.
The costumer service is good and there are e-mail address's on the site to contact them. They usually reply within 24 hours with some good advice.
All in all I think it is a great idea and it helps teenagers and young adults earn a little extra money. I would highly recommend this site to you and I give it 9/10. It lost the mark as it does take a while to build up the money unless you do a special event.
Advantages: Get across your views and be rewarded Disadvantages: Balance update may take a while.
Do you remember the saying children should be seen and not heard? Now thats not the case. Dubit Informer works so that the youth of today have a say in the consumer world. You can voice your opinion on various subjects such as politics and the state of parliament, to where the best place to holiday is. Opinions can be put across either in the poll, or through the various surveys they have to offer.
To be a part of this you must be in your teens ... ...long and will be worth while in the long run.
Surveys centre around topics that interest the younger generation and give you the chance to let our voice be heard. Films, sweets, fashion, all these are assessed with due reward. You can be rewarded anything from 50p - £1 for a survey, and they are very frequent with sometimes a new one every weekend, plus there are normally two at any one time. Sometimes surveys are for a certain audience such as 16+, ...

Quick review of dubitinformer.com
Are you getting paid to write that? hmm sounds like an advert to me. be very careful because you are breaking UK consumer laws by not declaring you are begin poaid to advertise something or by pretending to be a consumer yourself.
Also be carful with Dubit - they do not have many members at all and lie about how many they do have. My mates still havent been paid for surveys they did a year ago! ...

Advantages: Lots of surveys and free stuff Disadvantages: none
My two children have joined up with dubitinformer and they love it! Every week they are sent an e-mail with the latest surveys and they pay 50p or more for each one that my children complete. They get paid when they reach £25 balance. Also on the dubitinformer site is a sister site called dubitinsider which my children have joined too. My son went to London to the launch party of a new nintendo ds game called 'Spectrobes' and it was all paid for. ... ...do was show his friends and maybe take a few pictures for them to publish on their site. My son told people about the game that he recieved and he got points for his work, which he can exchange for prizes! Dubitinsider have 'street teams' where you can choose which product team you want to be in and you will get the product free. You can also get a Dubit card which is like a credit card which gives you 10% off things like 'pizza hut' and buy one ...
