...it. If you sell on Ebay and hate the repetitive listing process and the times between auctions ending, this is the tool for you!
Of course, this is only a program that is for E-bay sellers and can't be put to any other tasks, but if you have sold on Ebay you will know the downsides to listing lots of items. You shouldn't miss this, you will be saved a lot of time and hard repetitive work.
E-bay Turbo Lister was a program I came across about a year ago when I was selling a lot of things on E-bay and I found it by looking through the sellers tools section of the web site. I saw this program called E-bay Turbo Lister, and read the description and thought what an excellent application that could save me a lot of time, it was a big file around 15mb, and being on a 56k modem was going to take about an hour to download. I didn't want to miss out on what this application could do, so I clicked for the download.
What does it do? ******************** E-bay Turbo Lister is a program a program where you can build up your auction pages on your hard drive (just as you would through the web site) and then you upload them all to your account at once.
Installation ************* Installation was very easy and was your usual agree to terms and conditions and clicka few next buttons. All very standard. When you first run the program you have to set it up to your e-bay account by entering your username and password so that it can synchronise with your account information. Updates are also done on the program the first time you run it, you will find that categories and listing fee information often needs to be downloaded.
Help Files ************* I needed to use the help files when I first downloaded the program to get the basics of how the application works, and it was very clear and I was able to take the basic workings and build on that to make the most of this program.
The Good ************* There are so many benefits to using this program, here they are and I'm sure you will agree that this is going to be very useful for you!
The key element of what this program can do is the amount of time it will save. When you use the web site you have to go through the selling section and complete all the sections from item descriptions, pictures, postage costs and bid information. If you say this takes ten minutes a time to do this, and you list six items, there is going to be an hour between the auctions ending. But, with this tool you can prepare your auctions offline and then uploading them all at once and only have minutes between each of them ending! Another time saving feature is that you can copy and paste auctions, you can save postage costs and descriptions and apply them to you listings automatically without having to repeatedly type them out over and over again like you would need to do through the web site.
E-bay Turbo Lister has a great interface that is clear and everything is easily accessible. It is easy to use and everything is automated to speed up processes by the click of a button, that found on screen when you need them, without having to run long, tedious procedures to get it to do what you want.
And even before you decide to upload your auctions, you can download the listing fees and see the totals of how much it will cost.
The Bad ************ If you are on a slow connection, downloading the program can take a while and getting all the updates can take a while too, you could be running into hours with a 56k modem. I found this program to be worth the wait though! I downloaded the program, copied to a disk so that I would have to do it again. If you are on a faster connection like broadband, there aren't any downsides as this will be a pretty quick download for you. This was the only thing I could pick at with this review. This is really only very minor!
Conclusion **************** I am very impressed with this application, as it has saved me a lot of time. I once listed twenty items for sale and then ending times between them was fifteen minutes between the first and last. If I were to do this through the web site, this would have run into hours. I'm glad I came across it. If you sell on Ebay and hate the repetitive listing process and the times between auctions ending, this is the tool for you!

This is a great piece of software that is great to look at and easy to navigate. The help files are great, I am very happy with it. I can't recommend it enough! Go and download it
Advantages: Its free, easy to use, makes uploading auctions a LOT easier Disadvantages: None really
EBay launched a tool a couple of years ago to try and boost the number of listings its Power Sellers were uploading. It was and still is to this day an extremely popular 'tool' going by the name of "Turbo Lister". It certainly aids anyone who uploads anything to sell on eBay, not just those who are Power Sellers.
In my time I have been a Power Seller on eBay and have uploaded hundreds upon hundreds of auctions over the years. I can honestly say ... ...have even become such an eBay selling addict as I once were. I certainly would never have even attempted at uploading as many auctions as I used to do!
I first came across Turbo Lister probably about 2 years ago now when I first started uploading more than the odd item onto eBay. I had never heard of it prior to a friend mentioning it to me in passing, very much along the lines of "you mean you don't already use Turbo Lister?" She was astonished ...

Finally, there is an option that allows you to edit your item using HTML, if you prefer.
A huge benefit to Turbo Lister is that you do not have to upload your created listings straight away, meaning that you can upload them hours or days later. Also, this means that you can upload all your items at one go, instead of creating and uploading them one by one.
Another ...

Advantages: quicker program than TB1,inline editing,FREE TO USE Disadvantages: unreliable: updates ruin it & ONLY WORKS WITH XP NOT WIN98!!!
...month the speed was OK. Ebay have tidied up the program so it no longer takes ages to switch from inventory to upload (I remember tb1 used to jump around a bit as it was switching to the upload tab) and the inline editing option is useful: it used to be real slow to edit the title as you used to have to open the whole item and change it but now you just right click and select inline editing.
Also TB1 wasn't set up for longer shop categories so when ... ...tier category) for your shop you could not select your category in TB1 because the box was not big enough and so you couldn't see the full category. this problem was solved in tubolister2
I hate the way it puts an advert at the end of your listings and have tried to take them out by revising the listings! Apart from that I found it usable and fair!!! I was getting one fine with it until an update was needed:ebay change categories all the time so ...

Advantages: It is quicker to list using turbo lister Disadvantages: It crashes regularly
I began selling on Ebay the slow way; you fill the form in, load the picture, make a cup of tea then send it all to Ebay. It took forever, especially as I was on dial up then! Moaning to a friend about how long it took, he said why not try Turbo Lister. I loved it; I could list 10 items in the time it had previously taken to list 1. It is very easy to download takes about 5 minutes to complete the process. If you sell lots of similar things you can ... ...all your listings, links with Ebay to synchronise and uploads new sales. One amazing thing about Turbo Lister is that it is free, now not much on Ebay is free so that makes it unique. Now, I can't do without Turbo Lister but it still irritates the life out of me. It freezes. It won't synchronise. It won't upload pictures. It crashes. It does all of these on occasions. Another feature of Turbo Lister is you can create back up files, now I have noticed ...
