Turbo Lister is a free program that is available to download off the eBay website. To use it, you simply log on using your usual eBay user ID and password and it will then allow you to create and edit your eBay listings.
When creating your listings using turbo lister you simply have to enter the item's title, category, starting price and a few other details - almost exactly like you do on the main eBay website.
After you have selected all the main details you can then begin creating the description for the item. Turbo Lister's main description editor includes many basic formatting options such as adjusting font size, colour, style and alignment. It also contains a spellchecker, as well as a useful insert panel that allows you to insert a selection of commonly used HTML tags (an "add to favourite sellers" message, for example). Other options available in the editor include an option to add pictures to the listing, as well as a choice of themes for your listing (these are actually 6p each when using the main eBay website, but are free when used with Turbo Lister). Finally, there is an option that allows you to edit your item using HTML, if you prefer.
A huge benefit to Turbo Lister is that you do not have to upload your created listings straight away, meaning that you can upload them hours or days later. Also, this means that you can upload all your items at one go, instead of creating and uploading them one by one.
Another benefit to Turbo Lister is the ability to create templates which allows you to pre-fill item details that can be used over and over again.
When you are finally ready to upload, Turbo Lister will display the listing fees you will need to pay for the items, and will then begin uploading them one by one - which can take some time when uploading lots of listings at once (I find that it usually takes between 15 and 20 seconds per item).
Some minor problems I have with Turbo Lister is that it can be quite slow and stutters at times, and navigating around its menus can often be quite awkward. Also, downloading the frequent updates to Turbo Lister can take quite a while, even on a fast connection.
Other than that, however, Turbo Lister is a fantastic program that makes listing items on eBay a breeze, and should definitely be considered by any serious eBayer.
