Oh how I love my Kindle!
Advantages: large reading screen, not too heavy
Disadvantages: At this size it's hard to fit in a handbag
I ordered my Kindle from Amazon.com, mere months before a version specific to the UK market was released, but even that doesn't bother me. I couldn't be happier with the product.
